When Costello had a hit with this in the middle of the punk era when all " hippy" was mocked such as " Peace love and understanding as thier flag I was very glad to hear this song as an answer,

This is awful …..typical Americans. This song written by Nick Lowe was never intended to be a Jolly Up but treated with genuine sincerity not this pumped up awful crap we’ve got here

Oh, are you beautiful people who saw this I can’t imagine I’ve seen like answer 765 I think I think if I had seen this, I would’ve been a complete spiritual, emotional worldly awakening. I would love to be able to get my hands on a complete DVD, or whatever this entire performance that’s just amazing. This is just amazing life and hope and happiness.

Holy smokes I can’t freaking believe that I’m 65 I’ve seen a lot of concerts. I’ve seen Bruce Springsteen twice and seen all sorts of people that that that is just freaking amazing what a life blood lyrically musically, spiritually socially integrated with the amazing thank you thank you thank you.

Okay, just a few comments. Max Weinberg is "the glue guy" to use Coach Self's term. Probably the best drummer in Rock n Roll. One of the best songs ever.

Nick Lowe was, and is, underrated. He wrote great songs, produced great artists, played with great bands (Rockpile), and still putting out music today.
