I am a Kempoist I've studied Korean Kempo called Kwon bop. Okinawan Kempo and Nippon Kempo. As well as several other styles and systems. To the trolls of AKK and ALL other types of Kempo jutsu. When the opponent Resists it is NOT a demonstration but a FIGHT. YES its best to train with REALISM. However DON'T form a negative opinion just because an uki is not resisting or not resisting ENOUGH. Kempo jutsu is VICIOUS. These men are dangerous. MMA practitioners are GLADIATORS who train for combat in a CONTROLLED environment that has rules. I never saw an MMA fighter gouge out an opponent's eyes or tear off an ear or worse. Do not compare apples and oranges it isn't right. Surely an instructor of ANY art will be slaughtered in an MMA competition because they are not feeding themselves and their family by combat. Also to the MMA heads Chuck Liddell, Ed Radcliffe, GSP, Lyoto Machida ARE ALL KEMPO PRACTITIONERS and so is Michael Jai White he does Kyokushin kai Kempo jutsu so does GSP and Dolph Lundgren. Bruce Freaking Lee studied kenpo under one of my instructors and Dan Inosanto is also a Kempo man. Please don't shit on Kempo. You're only revealing your own ignorance. ALL genuine martial arts are ONLY as effective as the practitioner. KEMPO jutsu ROCKS. OSS and respect for all REAL fighting styles and systems. Kempo is in my heart mind and soul. Its saved my life and the lives of others. PEACE and blessings martial arts community. 🐅🐉🙏🏽🙏🏻😇

35 years doing this fantasy ...everyone is trying to be a self made grand master . ABSOLUTELY USELESS 1980's choreographed fighting . A natural trained boxer or BJJ would end that in seconds...these 1980s guys are washed up with their fantasy arts...it never seems to amaze me how they keep training in this nonsense for their life and don't realize how stupid it is or how restarted they look dancing around doing this nonsense slapping people and the Uke is just going along with it. The opponent inst even striking through with body mass.

@LicenceSARI20135 жыл бұрын
@akemisa2 жыл бұрын

@TheKickeur7 жыл бұрын

It looks like Ed Parker did not give a shit if the moves he has created are going to KILL people and the Legal implication of street fights are all neglected , in case you are a good Kempo fighter , you might kill the attacker and end up in Jail , Ed Parker uses targets such as GROINS , EYES , and heavy Blows to head and face , all mortal areas on human body , his knife attacks are also KILLER attacks to Throat , neck and all dangerous areas , so speaking He has created an art to KILL without any CONSIDERATION for HUMAN LIFE and the possibility of ending up in Prison for MURDER [ even if it's a self defense ] . He was really a Crazy Inventor , he had NO Martial art Philosophical Knowledge , his art is empty of MORALITY and respect for human LIFE . Crazy Psychopath ED PARKER .

ridiculous, Bruce lee didn't take anything from American Kenpo. that's some fantasy kenpo guys tell each other to feel validated but well, american kenpo is very useful., the way it's designed is that once your opponent sees you do all the silly footwork, strange hand gestures, and childlike mouth sounds, they will immediately assume you are a mentally challenged manchild and decide not to hurt you.
@Dragonflyjones676 жыл бұрын

Yes. I mostly study at CSW in Fullerton under Erik Paulson these days. He is one of the best if not best MMA instructor in the US. UFC fighters train there every night. Sensei Paulson would never compare MMA to a real life situation. He calls it a sport and so do I. FYI I haven't studied Kenpo for many years but it will always be my base system. I just got interested in other arts.
