As a 2024 Mach-E owner, I have to say I love BOTH cars - I am a huge EV fan and I'm a huge Ford fan as well as a Tesla fan. I purchased the Mach E because of the styling and comfort. It's just a great looking vehicle in my opinion. I like Tesla as well and the software in Tesla can't be beat right now. That is the only thing that I'd give the Mach E a ding, is the software. Its laggy, navigation isn't the greatest, thankfully it has android auto and apple car play, so for navigation I just use my Apple Maps. Ford was supposed to provide us with the adapter so we can use the Tesla superchargers, well 7 months later and still no adapter from Ford - the one that was ordered the day we purchased the vehicle and no communication except one email 7 months ago from Ford regarding the delay in getting an adapter. So in that regard the customer service portion kinda sucks . That in itself is extremely disappointing as a long time Ford owner. Meanwhile Rivian customers get the adapter at time of purchase! Would I recommend purchasing a Mach E absolutely YES! It's a great car. Would I purchase another Mach E? No, my next EV will be a Tesla, because I want the Tesla software.

I keep wondering what the difference is between the 2 on insurance cost, on repairs, etc. Like, if someone hits your door or the truck bed, what is the cost to replace?

At the end of the day, the lightning is just an F150 when it comes to most panels and interior components. A fender bender repair is likely no more costly than any other F150, one of the most common vehicles on the road.

I cannot answer insurance with a Rivian, but will say my Model y lr is double the insurance cost of my Lightning and expect Rivian to be at least double.

The EUC racing part was pretty boring. I don't think it's a production thing - it just seems kind of anticlimactic watching EUCs in general. Watching them take turns seems like the opposite of exciting.

I drove this at a nissan ride and drive event before it came out to the public. it's nice but missed the mark on one pedal drive for me. Great for small family but I need a 3 row 😊

The professionalism of these 2 competitors makes me a fan of BOTH BIKES, SurRon is aged tech & Talaria is an offshoot copy that totes the line of intellectual & design theft, i mean the Talaria people were at SurRon at first & rebelled & started their own brand, but only added a gear box, besides that they were initially the same bike. Rawwr Mantis all day just because it's UL certified, & to use as a dual use trail type bike & the E Ride Pro SS for the added speed, & range it has
