I find it to be on the nicer end aside from the high end areas of San Jose. The traffic at rush hour is a bummer though. Usually around 25 degrees during the day.

ya it's definitely a little sketch on the little one. if I get another bike I'd be looking at the freedom Rx model. I need more boxes lol. I have a buddy that rode big bikes up north and he bought a freedom 250 dirt bike down here, is enjoying it

So this road is one of my favorite drives in Costa Rica. It's well paved and marked. Now, it goes very high in elevation so there's a chance you'll actually drive through a cloud if it sets in. Just put your hazards on and drive slow. Also, people don't really play around with getting stuck behind trucks. You'll likely have people passing on double yellow , but everyone is chill and if they misread the distance people let them in. The road itself I wouldn't say has hairpins. This video is on the backside of the mountain(closer to Pérez Zeledon). The frontside is less curvy and less pitched. I wouldn't be worried about it at all. @@DcArmy9015 well with though throttle in low gear it actually hauls up hill. But I definitely don't recommend this bike lol. It's fun but cheap. A 300 is probably a great size. Lots of people here ride 200s
