The theme isn't in the original and in the remake you have to fight one instead of two this theme is so epic I still haven't forgiven Laura to lock me in that room

Most of the tracks for the remake are underwhelming, in my opinion. But phase three of this song is *awesome* and definitely had me gripped from start to finish as I fought Maria. Several ambient tracks are also very nice, and I prefer the remake's version of Null Moon. Also liked Betrayal.

This is probably about as flawless as you can get with that section - I’ve always listened to extensions of this song but not many tried to extend the bit I focused on except one way back in the day. Basically once it gets loud it stays loud and that’s what I was going for. Back to Silent Hill after this. Trying to squeeze in a what I can but pretty busy in these last couple weeks of the month.

The song of a broken man who have nothing left to lose. James scream in the remake is really heartbreaking and unsettling. It's the scream of a man with good potential who is ruined by guilt. I tried to find this song during the 2 pyramid head fight in the soundtrack but couldn't. I think it's bizarre they didn't release it, it reminds the original Betrayal but the changes make it more about sadness and despair.

This song’s too epic to be “unused” - maybe there’s a secret pyramid head fight or this is from a future DLC. Cause it sure as shit isn’t in the base game! Imagine hearing this during the Twin Pyramid fight - maybe someone can mod the track in? I might listen to it and play the fight on Hard lol

Some of this music like the main OST doesn’t appear in the game…I’ve got two theories on that: 1 - Akira made new music for every sequence but Bloober chose to reuse the original game’s OST if it was too different (which is why abstract diddy uses his original theme instead of Abstract Torment). 2 - OR…the unused music is meant for DLC that hasn’t been announced yet. Born from a Wish and potentially an Angela DLC. Maybe Born From a Wish will get a RE4 Separate Ways-esque expansion featuring more areas and even boss encounters. Think how there were 3 Flesh Lips enemies in the original game - yet James only fights one. A second one does pull him through the roof but both the fate of that one and the unseen third is left to the imagination. In the RE4 remake the second Verdugo disappeared from the main game partway through and didn’t fuse with Salazar at the end - instead it became the “Pesanta” and hunted Ada throughout most of her story (Chapters 1-5 to be exact). Not saying that Flesh Lips could be a pursuer type but Maria COULD encounter them after she decides to get up from her room and find James. Additionally for Angela…she could perhaps have her own sequence involving being pursued by Abstract Diddy or even a manifestation of her brother…there’s plenty of potential for her.
