I'm thinking whether the entire backend can be written in nodejs / not. Probably need to learn python , get a good grip on it to get start 😢.

The python will not be very hard to understand :) Python supports the AI models better than node.js. That’s why I chose it btw.

Why there is prebuilt codes its not good the code is prebuilt
@andreastrolle3 күн бұрын
Hey, I don’t understand. What do you mean prebuilt code?
@EntronsTv3 күн бұрын
@@andreastrolle Im new to coding and making website but you are not writing the code by yourself and showing us step by step installation and other processes the code is already written and your just explaining the codes and its very tough and hard for me to understand like this video is not for me basically not for beginners. I recommend you to please write the code and then explain then only I would and other junior web developers can understand so please Write The Code Step By Step and Install things in front of us

@@EntronsTvI understand. This series will be less in-depth, and more about how it works, since the code is already built (check it out in the description). After this series I’m releasing some videos building projects from scratch. Question for you: are there any specific projects you’d like to see how to build from scratch?

Loved the video! Keep em coming! Currently working on building my own tool and looking at this helps, but also feels a little overwhelming since I don't have a lot of Backend knowledge. Few questions: With all the costs of the services - Is it possible to make it cheaper? With the deployed app were you able to break even?
@andreastrolle10 күн бұрын
Thank you. What are you building? I didn't break even before I closed down. The fixed costs becomes negligible when you get paying users because they don't grow with the amount of users. You could use cheaper provider than PlanetScale if you wanted too, and also use the Vercel free plan. The variable costs are more interesting. It costs about $0.35 to create a single clip. So for 16 clips monthly, that'd be $5.6 in operating costs monthly per user, with the pricing being $19 / month for that plan. That means margins are about 70% for the cheapest plan. I'd be looking into lowering the variable costs. I got a list of every expense it takes to render a clip. Lambda computing is super cheap. LLM usage is pretty high on that list. Another thing for reducing costs could be is removing free trials. For example. If 10% of users convert free trial->paid, and each get 3 free clips, then it additionally costs $10.5 to acquire each user. That eats much of the first months profit margins.

Thanks for the video, love it. I am a junior dev and I have always wondered how it works ( since this is complex ). Thanks for showing the background process. Please increase the volume a bit, Subscribed!
