@@bridgeburnerspodcast Its definitely the market at the moment and there's real competition because a lot of podcasts have jumped onto this. Its smart to get onboard. Essentially to make this work you gotta create buy-in for the viewer so that they would want to subscribe and pay for it on Patreon as a subscription. Yes you are getting a number of comments on the videos but a lot of that is just a signal of potential interest. Personal recommendations as someone who has been around the block: Start off with just the usual KZbin podcast video and market the crap out of the Patreon during the video What you gotta understand is its not just a matter of showing feet. Everyone has feet. What makes yours special and worth paying for? If you want to get more buzz, you gotta do more than just show them, you gotta do something that gets people invested in yours and your podcast. Keep it light-hearted but honestly the best way would be to start off wearing shoes and then during the episode take them off on-screen using the above table camera (basically legs on the table). If you wanted to play into this more (which would generate more buzz again), remove/steal each other's shoes. It acts as a reveal in a way and shows that this is now a more solid feature of the podcast. That alone can help generate a lot of interest and a lot of viewers who would then hopefully want to see more on Patreon. Split screen does depend. I would trial it and see what the reception is on a second youtube video and that way you could gauge whether it works. If it doesn't maybe consider altering your setup or leave the more exciting content as Patreon only. The latter again really depends on whether you feel you have created a solid enough base. You should definitely leave barefoot content for pay-only, but maybe have a preview on Patreon removing the socks if thats what you are going for. Again, the Happel Hour channel has a good model with doing this. Hope that helps.
