Thank you so much for reacting to this. I was in high school here in North Carolina when this song first came out in 1979. I remember it well. My girlfriend at the time and I loved attending concerts. It was one of the things we loved doing together. There were a huge number of wonderful groups at the time and concerts were not very expensive to attend. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Boston, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Triumph, 38 Special, Foreigner, and many others. I cannot describe to you what a wonderful time it was to be young then. We were happier, relationships were closer, life was more carefree, and the music was spectacular. Our 4 adult children (28-33) love 70’s/80’s music just as we do. My heart just aches that young people will not get to experience life as we did as teenagers in the 70’s/80’s. Again, thank you so much for posting this video. It was a wonderful treat.

It was an experience to watch your reaction. I would have liked to go to an Led Zeppelin concert with you. Jimmy already tried the violin bow in the Yardbirds, where he also played the sitar. He was always experimental.

It was great to see your reaction to this. They were the first live band I ever saw. It was November 1971 and I'd just turned 17 years old. It wasn't a big venue or stage and I was about 10 feet away from them. It was a brilliant night. You'll appreciate this even more after a few listens.

This song live at Earls Court, the MAY 25,1975 version is soooo mind blowing. There are other versions from that venue, but the MAY 25th is the best visuals & audio.

The woman you reacted to "look at her face" was Robert Plant's wife Maureen. They were married just before he joined Zeppelin. Love that you get how they interact while improvising and bounce off each other

I’m still trying to figure out why people think Hendrix and Clapton are better than page. He was a way more versatile musician than both of them. He was also more innovative than even Hendrix, it’s ashamed this isn’t recognized because of page ripping off blues artists. But he and Zeppelin created hard rock, and who else could make play guitar with a cello bow sound so good

Led Zeppelin....greatest band ever! I was fortunate enough to grow up during the 60's and 70's era. I went to every concert whenever they showed up at the Tampa Stadium. They sounded even better live and when you are right there. I knew from the start that the Led Zeppelin was legendary.

I support Tottenham Hotspur fc my side in England.in 1979 I usually went every week to see Tottenham games but I was lucky enough to get a ticket for LedZep at Knebworth. So that week I missed my game of football but seeing Zeppelin was the highlight of my gig going life. Also the game I missed Tottenham lost 7-0 to Liverpool.
