Worthless non-scientific study, of course they eat the closest corn to them so with the apple in the middle and most dangerous to feed on. Should have put it in 2 piles near each other to actually test this theory!

Deer in Florida don't give two s#$ts about apples or apple corn. They'll eat the apple corn not because it has apple flavor but because it is corn. On multiple occasions I have placed apples in the woods and the deer completely ignored them.
@OrionARSАй бұрын
I've had deer ignore apples in some spots in North Carolina, but if I put them out anywhere near an apple orchard, they HAMMER them. I think a lot of deer don't realize what they are unless they grow up around em lol

I’ve had mixed results. Mostly positive. I hunt public land a lot and haul in a gallon and a small brick when I find a deep spot with no human sign. I’ll put a cheap Muddy camera on it . I do this at the end of February or first of march. Then I return during turkey season and put a bag of Imperial Whitetail 30-06 on top of it. I don’t start with the Imperial Whitetail because it’s more expensive and heavy to haul in a backpack! If I’m getting deer on the deer cane in the middle or end of April I’ll haul the heavy stuff in. Imperial Whitetail 30-06 with vitamins and protein is the best mineral site mix there is!

I have 3 gravity self feeders that hold 300 lbs each. I’ve tried apple & regular corn in my feeders. The deer will clear a 300 pound feeder in week regardless of which corn. However I like the smell of apple corn, & I’ve always assumed deer liked it too.

Do you happen to have a place or purchase in bulk reasonably ? I’m just about to start feeding , and if they’re gonna eat that much - I’m gonna have to take a second job 😂 12 bucks a bag for 40lbs here . 360 a month just isn’t feasible for me

i don’t think the side by side comparison shows much tbh. but i’ve had this apple corn out for almost a month and have put other corn and blocks out. they haven’t touched the apple corn once, not even the crows, coons, or squirrels have touched it but they’ve devoured everything else

Great unboxing. I bought the phantom a couple years ago and I've enjoyed it so far. I did a review on it this past August before the season started after experiencing a few pros and cons. More pros than cons for sure, but here it is if you want to check it out. I will say the last con is something you may want to prepare yourself for in a hunting situation. I also plan to put together a video this summer using the one stick climbing method with a the phantom saddle and a lone wolf climbing stick. I just subscribed to your channel? kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYLcY52Ie8eBgJY
