To be fair those guys who flew the Rolling Thunder missions suffered heavy losses and if you were shot down and became a "guest" at the Hanoi Hilton you were subjected to years of unimaginable hell by the North Vietnamese.

I am sorry you had to go through that, I am sure a lot of it was out of your hands,, but you are right across the board, the only ones who do well in war are the ones making the bombs and bullets., thank you for your service. PTSD is an underrated problem with our veterans, and it's destructive, and hidden in plain sight.

This is so great. It has a Field of Dreams quality to the production of this video. Well done. I want to see Joel Pritchard walkout of the woods onto the court like Sholess Joe Jackson out of the cornfield in the movie. Thank you for posting this.

Sir. I just found this video. I was born in ‘67 and grew up seeing how Vietnam Vets were treated. About 15 years ago I made a friend with the shop foreman at a local coal mine and even though he is retired now we are still friends. I own a one man machine shop and used to do repairs for the mine. I think he finally just decided that I was someone he could talk to. I have no idea why. I never served in the military, my biggest regret in life, but one day sitting on his porch he asked his wife to go inside. He had never done this before over my many visits. Then he started telling me about Vietnam and his years as a Marine. I never had a clue he had been there. He was among the last to leave in ‘73. He served two tours. I will not tell his stories as they are not my own. I will ask is there anything I can do other than listen? Recently he quit talking about it. I do not know if I should ask or just let it go. He does get emotional. He lost friends of course. Maybe he said all he needs to say. I would take your advice if you would offer it. He is stable and has a good wife and a good dog and a new truck. Last year he built his third sawmill. Lol. Old man will not stop. Thank you if you even read this.

War is hell. No doubt. Even my ground time as a B-52G weather guy in Desert Storm left me profoundly affected by what it must be like for “the guys down below”. The shock rings rolling out through the ground were visible from 39,000 feet…

Awesome! Any way to contact Bill Bill and some of the other sons of the founders for an interview? I hosted my first Pickleball event and it went great. I’d love for them to speak to some of the PNW residents and educate them on the history! I think that’d be fun - thanks!

War is Hell. Ask a Ukrainian, it Sucks Ass! (2023) 😒◾🇺🇦 Respectfully, If this gentleman is still around i recommend Sebastian Jungers publication "Tribe" Mr. Junger spent sometime with a station duty of U.S. Troops in Afghanistan. "These guys don't care if you're rich poor good looking or ugly. What they do care about, is placing the Team first before yourself." Respectfully, Dr. Jordan Peterson said it best with the fellas that have ptsd. "Here's a Farm kid from Iowa being thrown into hell he realizes He has to become a horrible despicable human being, Just too survive and get the job done. Then get back home and realise He doesn't have to wear that hat anymore." Respectfully, I won't insult a war veteran by just telling him or her thanks, just acknowledge they're deeds through actions Not words. (Omaha, Nebraska) 🇺🇸🦅⚓🛡️🌱✨🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

The warload from ONE B-52D's concussion could cause a small rain squall..the concussion literally shakes the water out of the air. Look at any pictures of large (500lb+) bombs exploding and you can see the mist form.

Nisqually is that hill, I’m sorry you had this terrible experience, but I appreciate that you served in Vietnam to push back against communism, even if the war was generally a tragic mistake. Peace.

Those BUFF D model bomb mods dropped 108 of those 500lbs or 750lb dumb bombs at a whack! I know it sucked in ‘Nam, as all wars do, and I can see that it still affects you, as it does most combat vets. Perhaps you may derive some solace from the notion that it has been, unfortunately, the way of humankind since the beginning. So, you yourself share a comradeship not only with your brothers, the living and the dead, from Vietnam, but with all those that have fought in all wars before and since. You survived it, and that is indeed something.

Your mandalas are so calming beautiful and even more beautiful. I'm a mandala artist as well, but yours look so unique. I started drawing because I have a ton of health problems and mandala drawing has helped me keep in good shape. Can I ask you something, do your teach drawing these mandalas?

This has got to be the best ever children's performance -- given one hour of rehearsal. Salmon are losing the battle against what we are doing to the planet. Marcia created the backdrop, the kids made the fish and the bear and the sea lion. I wrote the story and built the boat. Enjoy.

I’ve just checked out your website. AWESOME! I know you promote that you never repeat, copy or print your own mandalas.... BUT, everything IS energy and each of those mandalas contains information that can and will heal many Souls. From Soul to Soul, I encourage you to consider sharing the back story behind each mandala (what were you thinking then? What were you dealing with? What awareness did you have while drawing that mandala? What message came through for you?) ....Create high-quality T-shirts, Mugs even Bed Blankets (Doonas) or wall art sheet drops with high quality prints... each product includes the back story of the chosen mandala. You get to gift the world the information within those mandalas, not just one person buying a print (which btw, you need up the price for your originals.) Happy to chat with you more about these ideas, and help you with a strategy.. Just reach back and let me know. I’m in Australia, but we can set up a zoom call and a coffee chat xx P.s. I’m an Energy Healer, and Success Mentor for life and business... so I TOTALLY get your work. Thanks for doing what you do x
