You get screwed on your back pay. Number 1 the law firm takes there cut. Number 2 if you were working and used long term disability your insurance company then takes back the cut of money they paid you.

I applied in December 2022. Got denied once, then denied with my lawyer. Got a hearing in October 2023. The judge told us that there gonna pass on my information to a psychiatrist and use what they have on file to make a decision. It's July 2024 and I'm still waiting. I feel my lawyers aren't doing anything on my behalf. All my lawyers say is, well we have to wait on the judge. This is stressful! I would've thought by being 100% P&T would help but I guess it doesn't.

I paid into the SEWER SYSTEM they took 11,OOO from my lump some they told me i should have been getting SSI i didn't get anything, barely got food stamps took 2 years to get approved they haven't stopped taking😢

I told the 800 I moved by myself an was getting 600 a month ,so I got a letter saying it was not put in my file an they owe me back pay , that was in June 2023 , now it’s Jan 2024 an haven’t heard nothing but I called they said in process center an can’t tell me nothing , how long does it take to redo my case, sorry so long

So, 5 months evaporates, lawyer gets $6 or $7 thousand, that leaves me a back pay check for around 2 or 3 months , I wish I was made aware ,jeez

Except that these days it can take a couple of years to get approved. Lawyer fees are limited to a percentage up to a maximum dollar amount so it isn't going to eat up the bulk of the back pay.

The government recently wrote the law in their favor they gave themselves permission to take the land They feel all land is theirs because they wrote a law saying it is so.😢😢😢 We have never ceased to be subjects surf's and slaves well for a very very long time that is if ever .They have always been the big bully taking whatever they want. And the top thing not to do to prove you're disabled: Start a new job. Sounds obvious, but so many people go back to work at substantial earnings while they're still trying to prove they're disabled.

What if the stock location of your license plates is in an area where half of the plates aren't visible? I.e. 1956 Ford F100... Those trucks were made with the stock license plate holder below the tail light, which inadvertently blocks some of the plate with the rear bumper...

It all depends on the date and year they determine when became fully Disabled. Things are all different with this process, not like 10 years ago when I became permanently Disabled.

It does go back longer when it comes to the date you filed for disability. When it comes to the days before you filed for disability they will only go back 1yr for SSDI not SSI, it's called retro pay.

1: Done that, even the Federal Government proved that I am disabled. 2: Haven't had any. 3: Haven't done it, the Federal Judge did at my appeals case. 4: What lawyer? I had a lawyer did a no call no show. I had 1 group that drop my case 1 to 2 weeks before my hearing, they were working on it for 6+ months. 5: Never did, my lawyer did.
