Torchlight Infinite is an excellent game, but half the time after launch, players lose interest in the game, I think there is a lack of active events such as: Increase in the drop rate of Fe, Drop rate of legendary equipment among other things, the game becomes very still...

I have really been enjoying this game. I love that you all take player feedback seriously. I am also happy to see y'all are going to adjust your monetization model. It's kind of out of control with season passes, consumables, cosmetics, multiple gachas, and ten different currencies. I would like request a bit more husbando love. This game is very heavy on the male gaze, so it would be nice if the objectification was more equitable. keep up the good work o/

Playing since 1 season ago, this season first 2 weeks was 😮 best experience for me, got alot of fun . Then just after alot of fixes, got bored.. boss rush is so boring .. like from season to season same gameplay..

This current clockwork season for me is the best since 2022. Im a casual player. I play 1 to 2 hours a day. For me FE drops was just right this season cuz i play the season to the end. Great game, and i was able to scale a char for more end game content which is important.

I dropped this season because of the nerf to clockwork FE drops... This only makes the game more p2w since it pushes everyone to farm other seasonal contents and if you don't have the pets it's 10x worse.

FE drops last season was on point, there is no need to change it. However, Chart needs some work, because not all of the mechanics are good enough (and needs more points).

These devs are delulu like nothing before "FE drops were too common witch acutally kind of negativly impacted the ingame economy" "these were the main issues that led to less then ideal retention rates across the season" Ohhh so it was not all the shadow nerfs they did that made the season feel lame after the first 2 weeks? Please allow new players a chance to earn past rewards throughout the season. I've just joined the game and have been told I've missed out on a bunch of past benefits from the season because they ended so now I have zero incentive to continue playing due to the fact I can't earn 100 tokens to try out cool classes.

I really appreciated the massive FE drops across the board to craft my gear and trade. As a casual dad, TLI difficulty is in a great spot. For the first I was able to access all the content and achieve 5T dps with good defence. I would advice to continue giving this kind of accessibility to end game content, it’s really awesome. hello felas. SS5 WAS THE MOST FUN SEASON I PLAYED SINCE 2022 , THE DROP OF FE WAS GREAT, BUT THE TAX FOR MARKET IS BAD.

I don't consider myself "hardcore" but I do put about 80-100 hours into every season. I wanted to give some feedback on your comment of SS5 being too easy. I think I agree with you for early game, but the last few season I have played I always tend to tap out somewhere around the transition from 7-2 to 8-0. I am probably missing the 15-20 points of IQ needed to make a competent build on my own and having a strong build in 7-2 is possible only when I am following a decent build guide. I don't know if it's possible to fix but personally I feel that the progression from 7-2 to 8-0 is the most difficult part and maybe it has an effect on retention more generally. For the record, I stopped playing SS5 to try out the Last Epoch patch. I should probably have just continued playing TL:I. I was extremely happy with the SS5 changes. The new inventory UI is a great first step if you plan to improve the rest and hope to see more in SS6

Your seasonal based pets are usually overpowered when fully leveled when it comes to obtaining loot, maybe adding more ways to obtain those pets during the season to the point of being able to max it by the end of the season would ellieviate a lot of the problems for f2p players. Whether adding at least one to the battlepass, maybe an event at season start to obtain another and an increased chance to also pull a first one from the gacha would be beneficial. How to obtain any others can be worked out.

imo Fe was fine dont nef it and main issue was could find the low level set items but didn't find a single one of lvl 100 sets unless im doing something wrong an was in timemark 7 ?

You mentioned old mechanic reworks, Does that include Mist? I love the Mist gameplay, it’s my favorite one, but it’s such a huge gamble and isn’t fun to farm for a profit. It’s only good early on and you can’t reliably farm the last Month. Also is there any plan on incentivize non-0 button builds, That’s one of my biggest issues with the game. There’s no incentive to play builds that are actually active because they aren’t as good, I really wish the game would try to balance this in some capacity. I’m really happy to hear a city rework is coming, City is my second favorite. Excited about the progression and endgame update, Was way too fast this season. Thank you guys for your hard work and I’m looking forward to playing all the future leagues.

2:53 why do you ignore the topic of monetization?? remove the characters from battle pass and it will be great because for me this is the only option that drastically changes the game. If you don't buy the character/battlepass, you won't have a character as strong as the one for money. you and Undecember are making the same basic mistake, I won't go into whether it was intentional or not, but you have characters for real money that are strongly favored in the season of their addition, and in Undecember the auction house is again for money. and both games, you and them, die 1-2 weeks after the start of the season and almost no one plays start drawing from poetry and it will be great

Only agree on the last, not enough end game content, nerfing FE drops and making the game harder will make you lose players, take my word for it.. I love this game for what it is , but don't you dare nerf these things, you will see. (Kinda sounded like a thtreat now that I read this again xD, it's not though, I'm just passionate.) Also please remove the ruins of aeterna gameplay, I hate standing in a circle just to wait, the bsses and waves of monsters are fine, but not the waiting, it's beyond boring. Anywas, love you!

Maybe the guys who have 6 lvl p2w pets per drop and experience ease in extracting FE and game items, but as a person who has a maximum of 1 legendary pet per drop FE, I do not agree with an overabundance of drop. One of the key reasons for the drop of the season for me was the hidden nerf of the drop of flat FE from the mechanics of ballet. Which turned the atlas maps farm into a waste of time, because you didn't get anything and a simple boss rush of low-level maps gave you more than a farm of high-level maps. 6lvl p2w Drop pets ruins economy in the game at all. You guys should take care of your lousy monetization system with p2w pets. And add more variety of builds, skills, and mechanic interactions to keep players , it's no secret that 1 character has a maximum of 1-3 top builds. And when people build a great build, they simply have nothing to do in the game, it's not a question of the speed of progress, but a question of the variety of game builds and content. I like this game for its simplicity and some casualness, if I wanted complexity I would go play poe. I like to collect different builds and close the most difficult content in the game, but I do not like the intentional slowdown of the game to keep players. Because it is a very fine line, and if you cross it you will get the opposite effect that players will simply stop playing.

Clockwork Ballet was a great season with a lot of needed changes. Don't slow down. I'm sure next season will be even better.

0:47 "FE drops were too common which negatively impacted the ingame economy" The community would really like it if you straight up admitted ninja nerfing the FE drops from the clockwork mechanic during the season, we all know you did. There will be no outrage, we would just like it to either be in patch notes or for you to not do it at all, since the seasonal model allows for frequent economy resets and is perfect for the "fuck around and find out" approach from devs. As far as retention goes, the core issue is solely not enough endgame. You get NEGLIGIBLY better retention by giving out more BP/Event rewards, what you ACTUALLY wanna do is incentivize people to make stronger characters. Making the game "more difficult" (to progress) is an artificial solution, and will not help as much as you think. This is why i'm very happy to hear the planned Aeterna changes, as that's an endgame system with a ton of potential, that you weren't utilizing enough. It's the only part of the game where going from 15T dps to 16T dps makes sense for players to strive for. I'm also hoping you rework the rewards in there, as they're mostly all outdated, and the FE rewards were also SEVERELY nerfed (it's difficult to find an 80% nerf on FE drops to be a bug, but if you deny this was intentional, fix the bug then.) Crafting still hasn't found a good spot, and if this season we had "too much FE", i can't imagine how much worse it could've felt with less FE in the economy. Hoping you keep iterating, we know it's pretty difficult design-wise. Love these update vids, looking forward to the next season!

True hidden nerf drop FE from Ballet was my key reasons for the drop of the season. I don't have legendary mechanic pets to farm some league mechanics, and they take away one of the ways to farm without p2w pets...

Some thoughts on the first half of the video, regarding the future of the game: - This season's retention rate was much higher than the last few seasons. Based on how items on the Auction House were still selling during Week 4, which is hardly ever the case for lower priced items. - "FE drops to frequently, negatively affecting the game's economy." Hard disagree here.` For the first time since the game's release 4(?) years ago, the auction house was booming! Players could purchase items without having to worry about it being a mistake, as re-farming the currency for a casual player was nearly impossible. There was no way I would keep playing for another 200 hrs to get back the currency I had wasted. This season it didn't take 200 hrs to get back the 5000 FE I just wasted. Which was a big win. I was also able to craft again. Which was a pain last season. - Difficulty was too easy.. I don't understand people going into a video game with the expectation of "getting challenged", or the game being "difficult". Games are meant to be enjoyable and fun. Not sweaty and frustrating. Leave the house, make some friends, join a sports club, learn a new language. That's gonna be plenty "difficult and challenging" for the vast majority of people. --------------- I personally enjoyed the Clockwork Season a lot, because I could play it without having to sweat and min-max. It's been too many years since I was last able to enjoy a game for it being a game, and not an ego booster for sweaty people, or some useless competition on who has the better luck. --------------- My guess on what changes with Monetization: - more costumes in the cash shop for real money - price increase of the Battle Pass and some changes to rewards. Like my next point: - free to play obtainable gacha tokens for pets

I feel like the issue wasn't so much it being too easy overall and more of it being the top end being too easy. It should be pretty easy to get into "maps", but there needs to be something harder than what we have now. TLI needs an equivalent of uber bosses and super juiced T17s so people have something to strive for after the first couple of weeks.

The game was indeed too easy. You could get to t8 in day 1. The legendary slot thingy where you could target drop 3 main items from your build and just drop tons of it until you hit the 2* BiS with BiS corrupt was the main reason for this, the power creep was insane. I dropped the league quite early and from what we could see on Discord, most players did too. TLI team had already stated in another QA that the retention rate was bad. I think the tons of FE also make the game easier because it makes item crafting more viable, I'm not sure if I think that's a good thing or not tbh. I had fun with SS5 and I think a lot of the other changes were really nice, but the grind got boring quickly with every build dealing 5t dps with ease.

The monetization will always prevent this game from gaining any major traction. Clockwork Ballet was my first season and the game is actually much better than I was expecting, but the way you acquire heroes and especially the *awful* gacha system is insanely off putting. Especially when competitor games have WAY better monetization models (PoE, LE, yes even D4 - I'd rather use $40 for an expansion than for a pitiful amount of pulls in this game). I couldn't convince any of my usual ARPG group to try this with me because of the monetization. Which is a shame because like I said the game is actually quite good and there's a lot to like with the gameplay.

Yes I believe it was aiming for the Chinese market where gotcha F2P is fairly accepted. EU/US market does not react very well to those gotcha monetization. A well P2W account with best pets can generate up to 50-100% more currencies. These guys didn’t spend 100$, more like 10 000$. I hope they rework all of it to rebalance it. Pets stats should not give us any p2w aspects.

It’s like if PoE had a battle pass that allowed you to pick up items farther away in a suction format vs walking up to items 1 at a time. This goes even further because it auto picks them up. Lmao. Maybe spend their time making new skins and skill effects for direct purchase instead of sucking whales dicks with seasonal pets. Also, to the guy who said RMT is real, any game with trade has RMT. Just how it is and will always be.

This game is one of the best I've ever played on mobile, but if there's one thing the developers need to revise, it's the concept of forging equipment. It's a boring and outdated formula, this attribute roll scheme is extremely tiring, you could very well be inspired by the method used in Ubisoft's “The Division”, for me the most complete and exciting crafting system in an RPG. The system used in “The Division” makes players struggle to acquire resources to manufacture their items, being able to freely choose which attribute they want to put on their weapons or armor.

Don't play the game now , plane watcher farming and other strats have all been nerfed . People sell their items ,compass,beacon at an expensive price you can hardly make profit
