I did my exhaust first on my 24 valve. Mbrp straight pipe 4" absolutely love it. It opened up the motor and turbo. Next is the bank's to get more incoming air

I have SU1's on my small car. They are the worst tyres i've ever had. Constant wheel spins when pulling away from a stop. Understeer, drifting on hard corners and I just dont trust them. They are also only 4000 miles in and 1.5mm from the the wear indicator. Horrible tyres.

This is exactly my problem. I was leaving work and i couldn't get my truck out of park. I ended up seeing the same wire mostly broken. I'm going to try what you did after work tomorrow. Do i have to disconnect the battery when i do this?

Yea that kind of secondary clutch doesn’t have a way to open up the clutch pulling the center bolt seam to be the safest way to reinstall a new belt.

I agree with all that you should have cleaned the main jet and pilot jet as well as the carburator to ensure all the orifices were clean and passing carb cleaner through them as well as compressed air this way you are sure the carburator is not your fuel problem, as long as float and needle are OK also. As far as getting the idle circuit to work well when you turn on the ECO you need to adjust the throttle stop screw. you are right is hidden and the only way to adjust w/o tearing the machine down even further is by taking carb out adjusting screw and testing, then again take out carb and readjust until you have gotten it to run properly. Average is 1.5 to 2 turns in from just touching the servo controlled valve. You guys should avoid criticizing this person who did an excellent job of showing us where things are and how to access them although he was not familiar with the parts. But he did a super job educating some of us I just wish he had slowed down the tear down and explained each step he was doing to tear the covers and ends. one way to test carb w/o any tearing or cleaning is to remove front cover take out fuel line and connect a funnel witha small amount of gas to feed the bowl by gravity and allow gen to run a few minutes. If it starts and runs well this tells you immediately all is well on the carb and your problem is either the fuel lines, the filter, the tank or the pump saving you a great amount of time.

Did your drum motor smell like an electrical burn smell. I'm hoping mine was just the drain pump overloading the drum motor. Now that I'll be replacing the drain pump motor, im hoping the drum motor will be fine. If it continues with that electrical burn smell, ill just replace it. Recommendations? Thanks!!

Smoke machines are amazing. Found bad o ring on my fuel injector today after months trying to replace everything. Bad idles, rpms jumping, cat and 02 codes. Was on my 2008 ford escape 3.0. Nice video 👍

Very nice 9c1 and wow what a steel😍😍 I love my GM W-bodies and the 3800 series 2. Best cars ever imo. Would love to add this 9c1 to my W-body stable. Also yes this is a timing chain engine with no guides to wear out. The 3800 series 2 here is one of the best engines ever built. Your 9c1 is rare! Carpet, cass/cd, no traction control, no radio amp, no cabin filter ect. Yours is very rare specs on a 9c1 and so cool!! You scored huge!!

It's the end of 2024 and this is still an issue... I'm on my second one. First one took a dump at about 20k in my front yard while moving a cargo trailer 20 feet... The current one threw an error code while doing storm clean-up from Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, the error code came when I got back to 2WD. Drove it a bit like that (with the Service 4WD light on) and it went away. Haven't been brave enough to try 4WD again. Seems like a good lawyer could make a class action lawsuit out of this... Thanks for the insight.

So on these type of shafts you dont really need to.mark it right, it just slides back into the trans and then put it back on the differential, doesnt matter if its 180⁰ turn or not i would think. Single piece shafts cant be out of phase i thought.

The only things that cause the cords to break internally on a tire are excessive load, age, and under/over inflation. Nexen has been in business for 82 years and never had to issue a recall, doubt they'll start now

I asked two dealers for a simple drain then refill vs a complete job with filter and oil,,,,they wanted the same $650 for either. So just like both diffs and the transfer case I will be doing the transmission service myself. I found the ACSR atf for Aisin transmissions on Amazon for $65 per gallon. As for the fuel filter in the engine compartment,,,,,I really hate charging it because I am scared of breaking the plastic housing. Anyone else feel the same?

I checked WaterPik’s new products, so I decided to do what you have demonstrated to replace my batteries. Unfortunately it placed the batteries in a sealed plastic compartment and won’t me to access the inside. Had to give up. 😢

Can anyone explain me what STFT and LTFT positive or negative helping us? In all cases, no matter what number we get, we will still finding air leaks( vacuum leaks, gaskets or anything) Everything is speculation, the problem remains a problem. You don't understand the if oxygen sensor is bad or simply it’s intake manifold gasket.

STFT runs high (above 10 % or so) but then drops down and corrects when revving up or driving and accelerating - usually indicates a vacuum leak from what I've seen so far. LTFT should be low as well when all is normal. If STFT stays high when revving up, it may not be a vacuum leak. Also, check MAF sensor when engine is off but key is on. It should be 0.00. If it is above 0, there may be a problem with the MAF sensor, but it isn't a given. I have P0171 and P0174 on my 2002 F150 5.4 and SFTF is high on both banks. But there are no drive-ability issues so far. The MAF was reading above 0.00 so I changed it - costed about $110 for the part. That didn't help the lean codes and it still reads above 0 when the engine is off but key is on. I have no good idea why that is the case.

@@datomkheidze9774 Update on my reply: It was a vacuum leak in my case. An elbow on the valve cover was deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Pretty much instantly made the LTFT on both banks go back to normal. I bought the stuff to make a smoke detector but accidentally found the leak before I even put the test together. I was looking for a place to plug the smoker into when I found the hole in the elbow. On the O2 sensor, one of the clear signs an O2 sensor is bad is if it reads flat very close to .500 volts on the live data (idling warm). If it is adjusting voltage up and down as you rev and let off the gas, it is probably still working. During normal operation, when the vehicle is warm and idling, sensor 1 on both banks should cycle up and down between about .200 and .700 volts. If it's not, then revving up and down, as stated above, will tell you if it is still functioning.
