The money still ends in the pockets of Chinese. What’s the point of government funding in this?
@ADEL4TV6 ай бұрын
Can you pls explain why?
@Nurse_Mike6 ай бұрын
A Chinese private company extending a branch in Ghana sponsored by the Ghanaian government. The only advantage is that Ghanaians will be employed. The profit goes to the Chinese. If ghana gets less than 20% of the profits from its natural resources, how much do you think they will get from an existing company? This is the reason they have put restrictions on importation of diapers etc. Just to ensure a private entity flourishes. What about getting the standard board to do its work by scrutinising every imported product instead of banning and banning?
@Nurse_Mike6 ай бұрын
About the pricing, I’m not sure it’s competitive enough to prevent others from importing. Mothers still can’t buy affordable diapers. So how does that boost our economy? And who said if the government built the factory on its own, Ghanaians will not be employed? Call this company and try to establish a retail or wholesale connection with them and see, they won’t even respond; you will witness a Poor customer service.

YES, African countries need to manufacture and produce all the things they use and stop importing everything.
@ADEL4TV6 ай бұрын
I agree with you. African economies must be industrialized, like Alan Kyerematen's vision to develop Ghana. Read on his GREAT TRANSFORMATIONAL PLAN (GTP), and you will marvel at this great illustrious son of Ghana and Africa's great developmental vision for Ghana and Africa. And through his great vision for Africa, he has already ensured the implementation of the Continental Free Trade Trade Area (ACFTA), to ensure massive trade within Africa, by Africans. He is a genius.
