menu sounds like the switch's click sounds in the switch's menus, the other menu sounds remind me of the ds, the crank is unique when it comes to menus though

I found the sound design underwhelming. While Fury road was over-the-top, immersive and impactful, Furiosa's came off to me ast empty, faded and shallow. The low volume and strange mix kept taking me out of it all

Homeworld is truly an incredible game! And the sound design is so good, but I never really thought about it before. I just knew I loved the game! Thanks for highlighting just how much incredible sound design added to this game. Really is a shame how bad Homeworld 3 was though. It would be interesting to see a similar breakdown of that games sound design, because I just wanna know how they screwed it up.

it still plays but the reason you don't hear it is because you can now hear the individual voices of the characters, like if you have punies you'll hear them make their noises

if you want answers to this, read below: they have changed the entrance and given the entrance a slightly different theme, but the dialogue just being screams remains. in the US English version, they have made a change to make bonetail a girl as she is in every other version (I think gloomtail is still male though). there is now new music accompanying his fight, which features sephiroth like vocal parts. the badge you recieve at the end is exactly as bad as it was in the original. if you complete the pit and hit whacka out of commission in chapter 5, eventually you will unlock new content in the same place you fought bonetail.

@@iddyyoht thank u buddy the original TTYD is one of my favorite games of all time. Game had peak sound design and it sucks to see the sfx that used to get stuck in my head bc of how good they were get replaced.
