She's not stressed at all. This is a natural weaning process and an important training time for the pups. Piper had free access to leave the room.

That is the most patient mommy dog I’ve seen! She is so good at not snapping at them, all the while trying to get them to understand that the kitchen is closed. Brava, mama! ❤

Yah should have them separate from mom just for a hour oh take them outside while mom gets rest sometimes yah for get that giving birth it's pain full and stressful for women's just like a female 🐕 and honey it's about that damn time to be eating solids and give mom a break all that up and down stressful for her not the puppies they can care less as long they get what they want poor mama

You are not following the mother’s body language. She’s weaning them off breastfeeding so by running around and avoiding them she is saying: you’re too big to breastfeed. Time to grow up and eat on your own. This is how dogs naturally teach their pups how to separate from their mothers.

Put the mother behind a dog fence and place a bowl of milk in front of the puppies along with a little bit of dog food,(not the dry kind), to defer them from suckling and to start eating from their bowls...

+Journey Houston, the puppies aren't simply following their mom. They want to eat, but Mom Dog is trying to wean then--no more milk, guys. Rather than following her, they are bothering her. The human owner needs to give mom a place where she can get away from them, and then he or she needs to get off his duff and begin preparing food for the pups.

@@Azishome pups get fed 3x daily and are kept in a whelping box where mom has free access to come and go. This was a 3 minute video showing how mom naturally weans her pups. Piper actually had access to leave the room.
