I wish there were a keyboard with the width of the BK05/BK05S, but a height closer to the BK03 (by omitting the function key row). That'd be easier to pocket, but not any harder to type on.

Whenever I'm planning out a part I'll get everything drilled and prepped and then I'm always excited, because I have about 30 holes to tap and it truly brings me joy when the tapping takes about 2 minutes to complete.

Any major differences in road noise between the two racks? With or without skis/boards on them? Looking to replace 20+ year old Yakima rack that is closely related to the powderhound.

No noticeable road noise when skis and boards are on rack. Empty, the BougeRV made a really low humming sound around 50mph.

How do you install the rear/reversing camera so it's angled down to see the end of the car?

There's a little brackets for the rear camera that you can glue or use 3m vhb double sides tape to hold it on. Because of the high resolution of the camera and the low resolution of the mirror/screen it doesn't have to be exact, the mirror has different crop settings for the rear.

Don't worry about using 20v batteries in the 18v tools. Read the fine print on the 20v tools and batteries, they are really 18v nominal voltage. The 20v MAX is just a marketing gimmick to make people think it is higher power, it isn't.

In Europe they are 18v as the laws won't let them falsely advertise as being 20v.. Fully charged both the old 18v and the new 20v read within less than .5v. Also there are many 18v batteries available on Ebay and Amazon for very low dollars. I have used them for years without problems.

None of the reviewed keyboards have # keypad. They now sell a bundle with a separate numeric keypad. Also the charge port is now usb-c amzn.to/3GKbhzg

If I remember correctly awhile back... .. . The BK08 has the Touchpad on the right, but in BK09 they replace the TouchPad section with the number pad!! By the way, they have BK03 and BK05 with Micro usb or USB-C charging ports versions...

The stock headlights were the old style 5x7. I replaced them with the JW Speaker 5x7 LED headlights. They're expensive, but awesome, and currently the best and brightest beam pattern. As far as electronics- 2 phones, 2 Kindles, a fridge/freezer, and a Maxx Fan. It was relatively cool last night, we turned the fan off around 10pm. Batteries fully charged by around 9:30 am!

I just used a USB plug from a cell phone to power it at the table.

I think the BK05 is sourced from a single manufacturer by various brands. I bought the same one under the MoKo brand in 2017; some of the keys started failing in under a year, and so, I was sent a replacement. The same thing happened. When I look at the 2022 Amazon reviews for iClever on this model, people are reporting the same issues. It's a shame because it is a GREAT keyboard, if it didn't fail as much. Considering how old it is, I'm shocked that it hasn't undergone any revisions.
