When I was young and more stupid I listened to cat like thief once and didn’t like the verse vocals - now it’s like one of my favorite songs of all time. I come back to this cover like at least monthly and search out other covers too. This is the best I’ve found and I almost enjoy it more than the original now.

Thank you for your feedback 😀 I learned drums first and I played this instrument in bands. I play guitar only in my home studio so I'm not used to playing standing up and it's hard for me when I shot music videos 😂

@@larrywombat nice yeah that was my guess - I play/played guitar and bass and couldn’t play drums at all unless only Toms and snare, couldn’t coordinate my feet at all naturally. You appear to be pretty proficient at drums and seem to have a good ear with the little variations on guitars you add in

Hey question - on the 2nd and 4th Lines of the chorus there’s a slightly modified chord like a sus or inversion - it would be on the end of ‘sixteen chapters of…’ for instance. What is the variation there exactly?

Think it’s just a fifth in bass on the 5 chord so F here - I wonder what the idea was there because it’s consistent and I don’t believe in the original?

j'adorais ce morceau moi aussi ! En le réécoutant je me disais justement qu'une cover version pop punk marcherait super bien, c'est comme ça que j'ai atteri ici :) bravo pour ta voix qui colle parfaitement au style. Si un jour tu veux faire un feat avec une voix femme sur du pop punk, ce serait avec plaisir ! (je ne fais pas de cover mais si tu veux écouter ce que je fais dans ce même genre tu peux écouter mon morceau "we used to dye our hair in the garden" et tu verras qu'on a probablement les mêmes inspis ;) )
