Did i miss something? When did he incorporate vitamin D3 into his cancer tx strategy?
@sabincioflec841323 күн бұрын
vit D is specifically activated by magnesium, not taking that into account makes most ( if not all ) the studies worthless. Also vit A balances out vit D, alongside K2 mk4

This is fascinating. I just learned from Jack Kruse we’ve been scared of the sun and omgosh it’ll age me so I’m just starting to sit outside a half hour a day. I’m very fair but my legs tan, yeah that’s weird lol. My husband has been trying to get me for years 10-15 minutes a day and I’ve fought him, but he never knew just how beneficial it is beyond just getting D and how it’s medicine.

Hi Dr. McCullough, met you at the KY Summit. I recently had low D levels diagnosed & started supplementing with a K2 D3 Mg Supplement and hoping it helps w/sudden osteoarthritis onset. I also added biotin, collagen, saw palmetto- & within a month started getting new patched of hair growth along my hairline.

I take 20k iu - 30k iu Vitamin D separated with meals per day with 800 mg Magnesium a day and 15 mg zinc w dinner. My psoriasis has had great improvement. I am 95% clear. It was mostly on my legs up to my hips. Rarely would I get a spot on my upper torso or arms. I would definitely recommend 👌 healing is a slow process, but within weeks, I saw improvement and think it will get better. I also on 4 probiotics. Read super gut for probiotics and watch Dr Berg videos on autoimmune.

In one of his presentations, Dr Holick has said that Vit D from sunlight stays in the system for twice as long as that from supplements. I've also heard a claim that D from sunlight is water soluble, rather than fat soluble, and available to the system more quickly - also it is claimed to be 'sulphated' and therefore better in some way?

Holy Moly! For prostate cancer with a low enough grade that surgery is an option, there is NO WAY I would do radiation and androgen deprivation therapy! You might get ED and you might need pads for incontinence, but that is nothing compared to what he has gone through! I wish him well and thank him for explaining his experiences.

It's only been up for 2 weeks though so that might be why the viewing figures are low. I am interested in what she says about people getting colds and flus in wintertime in the northern and southern hemispheres. What about those who live very near the equator then, do they never get colds and flus?

Without sunlight and this includes the entire spectrum, we die. UVA, UVB radiation, blue, violet, red, near and far infrared all benefit our bodies in ways we have yet to discover. Just don't overdo it.

I was suprised that his talk was based on intake rather than blood/serum levels and disappointed. Intake is irrelevant because blood levels and hence potential toxicity is determined by blood levels, not intake. Then the last graph showing a sharp rise with intake over 3800 IU/day was presented with no basis in fact. Finally, I was disappointed that so mny people, some for whom I had respect co-signed his defective worthless paper.

As vit D regulates calcium levels in association with other molecules the optimal level of those molecules needs to be achieved for a study evaluating toxicity of vit D. One of conern is vit K2. A low K2 leads to vit D not placing calcium where it belongs.

QUESTION? Can Vit D supplementation decrease Potassium levels? If so, it seems important to include it in the list of other Vit D co-factors mentioned in this presentation.
