Julgo ser a primeira vez que oiço Maria João Pires a interpretar Bach... De pasmar esta subtileza, sensibilidade e esta graciosa maneira de abordar o grande compositor alemão. Maravilhoso!

This wonderful concerto is nothing short of a miracle. I wouldn't even call it art because it's far beyond that, it's a miracle; because only a divine being could create something like this. I'm not religious, but for me this is evidence that Mozart was divinely inspired.

I love how percise this is to the dynamics Beethoven had written, and how expressive those dynamics are!

Clarity. What I like about Jarrett's interpretations of classical music. You can listen to anytime, anyday. The pieces of the composers like Bach or Haendel don't need your ego. Expressing yourself thing is the lowest form of art and disgusting to these composers. It's ironic the player outside classical world knows the true nature of art.

I hear Beethoven! Ludwig must have studied this one for inspiration for his own work.

This must have been the first time the audience in Vienna heard romanticism in a concert. Its first performance was on 23 march 1783 with Mozart himself on the piano. The applause was enormous, as is written in comments of that time. The audience must have been delirious.

Excepcional, muitos timbres, dinâmicas. Interpretação mais rica que de jean Yves que é muito boa.

I found it odd that Mary Gibson used this in her 3rd Factory Novel - Gunner Girls and Fighter Boys. So I came to listen, as a pianist and a long time fan of Murray. I can now say I'm now non the wiser as to her choice - perhaps authors just bung anything in, without actually researching properly. However, I found myself reminiscing about my father after all these years. But it's not a mainstream Concerto and not one I'd be dreaming to learn.
