i come back to this tune every couple of months and it tugs on my heart strings every time. The open road and the views remind me very much of going home.

Gary Innes is one of the top classic musicians ever from Spean Bridge in Lochaber and of course doing take the Floor on BBC Radio Scotland he is the best ever

Great song! Very uplifting. Trying to learn it in the uilleann pipes now.Thank you for writing it. Just visited the Lochaber area in August coming from Baltimore. Beautiful and inspiring country. Lochaber, that is! Not Baltimore!

Ummmmm ... why not? A guitar is a very popular instrument for providing an accompaniment! Ewan is a fine exponent of the instrument, and Gary is a fine accordionist! So what is the problem here?

Such a brilliant song. Truly good on so many levels. Listened to the guy on radio today. A good spirit. Not a bad presenter either
