Tyler Duasso Mystery snails and apple snails can survive out of water for about 2 weeks I believe and often times escape lidless tanks and are found around the area or on the floor. Mine personally has never done so, but I know they are known to be little escape artists

Yes a bowl can be done long term but it's more work, time and bother than most can or want to do long term as in years. It's called a two bowl system.

Dude howd u get that snail in there and how long do they live in a bowl thst long. Tell me more. Ur bowl is pefectly cycled too. But how long do they live. I would love to add some darf frogs to my big glass tank. I have saltwater snails so far they been alive for 3 years. With all my fish.

Ive had these last years. This betta lasted about 4-5 years and sadly passed away bc my mom poured liquid fuel thinking it was water-___- if you have enough plants the water will stay filtered. I changed the water weekly tho.

Please move this fish to a bigger tank! Betta Fish are not ment to be in bowls. The minimum size of living space is 2 gallons. Also, betta Fish cannot just feed off a plant growing at the surface. Bettas have to be properly fed with pellets or flakes.

I have to admire the aquascape in the bowl it is gorgeous and the bowl looks like 2 gallons so if he puts a heat pack under it that a $10 whisper it'll be good to go!

Faris Ahmad but it’s not thriving. They need at least 2.5 gallons or more and they will use all the space you give them. Please don’t keep betas in bowls.

I cannot stand it when people say: "Bettas can't survive in bowls." Are you sure about that? My Betta lived a life full of happiness and love for three years in a bowl. . .Bettas most certainly can live in bowls.

MSquared MSquared man, bettas that live in a not properly cared bowl will get finrot. And betttas that get that dissease wont survive for over 3 months. And if you are not healthy you wont be active. And just by looking at this, i could say with 100% certainty that the betta is healthy

I just got a Toyota Previa and it's a used one that's been fixed up. It starts pretty good and the breaks right now are really soft when I apply my foot on the break pedal. so I'm getting them fixed soon. but I still love driving it ❤❤❤

Amy Benoit how that's great. Tragically i crashed this van in a terrible freak accident. I immediately went on Craig's list and found another decent previa. Had minor issues but I went ahead and did a full tune up. (Oil, spark plugs, belts, radiator and new cold air intake) It drives beastly

The betta has plenty of swimming space. The bowl is probably 2 gallons from the looks of it. Plants provide oxygen. Bettas dont even need much oxygen. And they don't like water flow. Believe it or not, this is rather similar to wild conditions.

***** Trust me. If you've ever seen images of a rice field Irrigation Ditch, (the most common place to find a Betta in asia) This bowl is closer to it than any tank I've seen.

Yeah you're supposed to add sand then water. To prevent the sand from getting all mixed up and making the water cloudy, just place a plate on the stand and then pour the water on top of that so it doesn't mix with the sand
