Strictly speeking no but you will need some way of marking conditions and wargear rules. The token sheet is explained at the end of the rules download on the community site so if you already own the kill team you could print them out from there. Hope tgis helps and thanks for the support😁

Rules are free for all the kill teams on the website. The kit is insane but was subjected to a nasty price increase. The wargear options are locked in ways that aren't as flexible as 40k squads of old.

Figure itself is neat one of more original designs for prime yet but for me paper background should have been bigger it's just too small to expose entire figure completely

I still can’t believe they gave us even more power swords and combat shields. None of the other missing power weapons we need, no ranged weapons the squad can take, no actually arguably useful Boarding Shields, only one bolt pistol. I swear GW are actively taking the pose with this set.

Hi there😁! Thanks so much for watching and getting in touch. Thats completely up to you. Chaos black primer has a slightly different finish to abaddon black paint but if you plan on doing a lot of weathering and chipping then there's no real need. If you make a mistake anywhere you can always cover it up with the weathering or even a decal. For my armour panels I dry brushed them and then sponged on some of the same colours finished up with a little sponge of boltgun metal. Hope this is of some help🤞 and if you have anymore questions I'm always here😁. Thanks so much again for the support

When I was painting the black in the video I watered down the black pretty well and with a small amount on the brush I applied it quickly to the surface. The paint was like a heavy was. To over brush don't thin the paint and only have a small amount on your brush. Imagine a heavy dry brush

Hi there😁. Firstly thanks so much for watching and getting in touch! As I'm sure you've seen, there nice and easy to put together. No glue requiered unless you want to (and I would also recommend after painting incase you want sub assemblies). Just be brave! Grab a brush and just go for it😁. No one can tell you the right colours for your army only you. And everyone had to start somewhere. Best of luck with them and thanks again (and let me know how your getting on with them too😁).

@@midlandmarauders so didn't know you are supposed to prime them before painting. And so after painting with black acrylic all over tried to get rid of it with acetone. It discolored the minis and now drying. Turns out theyre plastic and they could have melted but didn't. Ill try again when i can prime

Yes priming is definitely the way to go. You can use gw primer or pick one up from your local diy. Don't spray them with one thick coat either. Build it up in layers and you'll get a better result.

The body of eject and the chest plate on blaster seem to be cut from the same sprue. It would explain why eject is made with clear plastic on every other release of this mound. The fact they didn't give blaster the smiling head is further salt in the wound.

The mold lines are horrible on the old miniatures. There are multiple days of cleaning in this box if you want clean miniatures. But my will be done.
