Thank you for the vinegar idea. I did not know you could use it for clothing not to bleed. (How do I use it for human clothing?). Did you not rinse the conditioner on the dolls hair? , did you let her hair dry with it on. Did you comb out her hair?

I never tried it on human clothes. Yes, I rinsed out the conditioner and let the hair air dry. I comb it out with the conditioner on the hair and let it sit for 30 + minutes then rise.

Congratulations! That's pretty lucky to get the only doll there. My mom had the Whitney version of that doll.I'm so glad she still had the original necklace, too.

Wow! That's a great thrift congrats! 👏🏻 You just need her skirt-purse and fix a bit her leotard and she will be like new! I have the Jewel Secrets Whitney but she wasn't so cheap and when I got her I found out her neck was broken and her head was glued with tons of super glue so fixing this it has been literally a pain in the ass! 😓

She is marked 62, but they come out one year after the markings. The First Barbie is marked 58 but came out in 59.

Yay!! You go Little Slay Queen!!! I love all of your beautiful Silkstones!! They are such a wonderful thing to have in a great Barbie collection. You and Sue mentioned the head turning. Especially on that Ken..finding his head not turning. Just want to let you know that you should be very careful with turning those Silkstone heads. The reason is, like all porcelain dolls, they are STRUNG. ...meaning that their heads and arms are held on to the body from the inside by strings or rubberbands or elasticbands.They are strung that means that they have the elasticbands inside her body. They are famous for having broken bands once someone starts to turn their heads. So. that is something to know so that your beautiful dolls do not break. I know how to restring dolls but have no idea yet how to restring a Silkstone. I am sure it can be done, but it might be a challenge! You two did such a great video and I can't wait to see more of you two! I loved it!! Thanks so much for showing g your beautiful dolls...old and new..they are beautiful! I hope my tip helped. Just to correct, you said Silkstone is made from porcelain. It's not actually. Silkstone is a resin, sand and quartz composite.

I love Francie and I had talking Stacey she would say Smashing with a British accent and other things, also had a talking PJ. PJ was my fave as she had those big brown eyes. Love the video the theory and the Beatles Oh my their music is timeless!!! The British invasion was everything. Many American Pop Icons were shocked by all the teens/kids in the USA loving everything MOD clothing music hair styles it really took over, Pattie was an international celebrity by 1964, for sure it is based on her!!!

@@BarbieLove Well I am a grown up Slay Queen the 2nd cause I ordered her 9 am pacific time I am in CA on the barbie signature member buy day 7/10/24 they were sold out the following day 7/11/24 afternoon when they sold them on site to non members. I cannot wait she looks so pretty!!!

Oh my goodness Sue what an adorable friend you have in Slay Queen!!!! She was so sweet, cute and a real doll!!!! I loved this content today,you can tell you two were enjoying the making of this what fun!!! I got that malibu chrisite pj repro set a few years back mine is still in box i love it!!! It's wonderful you can show and teach her the real thing, the originals, we had as girls and compare them. I love that she really enjoys collecting the repros from the 60's and 70's.
