Bought two 50E cells from Battery Junction. Unlike the 2170 cells I bought elsewhere, they don't supply the short 2A draw.. They have a silver strip that runs between the contacts, which I infer is related to the protection. Any input on these two issues? Again 21700 cells bought elsewhere work fine in the same holder application. All cells are charged in the same charger. TIA

Great test! I'm still learning. But good info here! My DeWalt came with HB4's but sounds like I may appreciate the HB6's better! Is I can find them. I will look at your supplier! I can't seem to find the HB designation on batteries I've looked at. Thank you sir

They are not, "grade A & B" cells. They are different model batteries, the VERSION B being a higher ah capacity cells.

Yeah i'm fine, just got no time to continue with battery tests. Considering on restarting the channel with computer components tests like SSDs, RAM modules, memory cards, etc... It's a part of my current job so maybe i'll start publishing those tests. Thanks for asking! Cheers!

Guys LiFePO4 is considered as 100% charged at 3.4V(Resting state). The video shows 3.34V, which is still above 90% charged if you are nitpicking.

LiFePO4 is fully charged at 3.6 or 3.65V. When the charging stops the voltage goes down to 3.3-3.4V.

that sounds like a poor cc-cv algorithm. too much current at the end of charge, so the cell relaxed a lot after removing current

Is it possible to connect these as a 19.2v 6S1P? You can find 3.2v BMS but then I don't know how to get that nicely into a tool battery shell. Would be amazing to create a 2500mah 70A CDR unit.

would make no difference, you cannot realy know the state of charge of lifepo unlike liion only based on voltage . 3.34 must not be far from 100% , when i recharge my 25kwh solar lifepo battery and let them rest they go to 3.30 to 3.40 rest voltage.

I would like the see the discharge curve @100 milliamps. I think you would have reached the full 900 mAh, at close to 3.5 watt hours! (regulated LED flashlight) Finally...A14500 cell that actually produces its advertised capacity!

Сижу заряжаю. И вдруг, как раз сегодня решил залезть в интернет, посмотреть, что есть на данную тему. Никогда не интересовался, хотя свои купил году может 10 или 11, точно уже не помню, короче давно. Маркировка другая, как на оболочке, так и под ней (просвечивает), штрихкод опять же под оболочкой. Никаких корзин. Краска вокруг минуса нанесена под оболочку и чуть выступает.
