You hear him say "it's growing, sh..." at some point ... I think many don't realize, this tornado is huge for the most part of this video. The many vortex tornado's that come and go and "danse" around the perimeter of what actually IS the tornado, distract from it. These vortexes are more dark and thus more visible, so people think THOSE are the tornado's and the threat, but the entire thing is rotating fast from the get go, hardly visible at times, but once it does pick up dust and ground, it shows you exactly where it is and how huge it is. Always look for signs that indicate how big the entire thing is, cus sometimes, if no dirt or debris, it's just transparent. Reminds me of the 2013 El Reno ... there too, people failed to see the entire picture and misjudged on the many vortexes.

As a child, I lived in Texas on an Air Force Base and my mom would tell my brother and I to get between our mattresses and not look out the window . Well, one day I looked out the window and I saw this huge tornado. I’ll neverforget.

Often times the focal point is the funnel, but the cloud front as it rolls in gives a pretty clear indicator that you might be in harms way soon.

Is that sound in the background the tornado sirens or the roar of the tornado? If it's the sirens I think they need to be checked because they sound like somebodies 99 Toyota with a stuck horn 😂

I was in my van coming home from omaha and foolishly tried to outrun the storm. I failed and was trapped under the overpass on 275 under a quarter mile from where it crossed the highway into elkhorn. When all i could describe as being enveloped by the fury of hell, it got really bad, then it got worse, then it got to a level of scary i couldn’t believe. only to be surpassed by a fear i could only describe as “ The feeling of helplessness and fear a rabbit gets while its being eaten by a brown bear” visibly became less then a foot or two due to torrential rain and very large hail and wind gusts to strong i could feel the rear end of my van being pushed like it was a radio flyer wagon… then to make things worse only about 1-1 1/2 lanes were open. When suddenly a semi along with several other large trucks decided. “ I’m gonna blast through the storm going 90 mph “ barely missing the group i was parked with. Thankfully, me and the 20 other cars squeezing under the over pass were unharmed.

Even though the tornado didn’t make a direct hit the Ghost train (inflow jet) cause most of the damage and were as intense as the tornado itself, which shows the danger isn’t just the main funnel (tornado).

MADE BY AN 11 Y/O READ I was there. So we were in school because it was an ordinary day in Nebraska and it was the end of the day dismissal time. Our phones had the EAS alarm when we had packed up our backpacks for the day and were just about to go outside when the sirens went off. As a school law, we had to go down to the gym. My school is 105 years old and is made out of brick. Anyway, our gym is underground so we have to sit down and cover our heads because that's what you are supposed to do. Obviously we didn't have any wifi, so we could not contact our family. I didn't know that there was a tornado warning because my parents had not told me that day so when the sirens went off I got kinda freaked out. The reason my parents didn't tell me is because my siblings get freaked out about storms so they didn't want them to know. So after about 30 to 45 minutes, we go back up to ground level and we are getting dismissed. As soon as I walk outside I see what you are watching right now. There were multiple tornados, not just this one so it was kind of like an outbreak. The Garner Industries dashcam footage is really cool so you should watch that if you haven't and I think only 1 person died. This made it's way through Bennington (the Bennington Lakes Neighborhood) and then went through Greensburg Iowa. Tornados can sound like a freight train when they hit and can destroy anything in its path so here are some tips and facts: •If you are in a trailerhome, leave immediately. They will get sucked up or thrown. •If you are in a car or camper, they can get thrown as well or even sucked into the tornado so leave and get into the ditch to cover your head. •If you are outside, seek shelter immediately. •If you do not have a shelter, go into a sturdy concrete building. •If a tornado looks like it's not moving, it's coming straight at you. Thank you for reading.

Very good information. You write very well and with such good grammar and punctuation. That’s not common for someone your age. You write and inform like you are very intelligent for your age. Keep learning and improving. You are going to be a phenomenal asset to humanity one day. I hope you understand how smart you are. But, mostly, I hope your parents support and encourage that strength in you. Just stay humble and don’t let it go to your head. I believe you’re going to do great things. Never stop learning; that alone makes life exciting!
