You can go to Settings > Apps > Advanced app settings. For "Choose where to get apps", you can choose "Anywhere".

SOLVED: This issue happened to me last night. I almost cried. I watched many videos and comments and eventually solved it by following these steps: 1. Delete the file with no bak extension 2. Rename the file with ".bak" by erasing "bak" but leave the "." 3. Sign out and sign in again. 4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 above but delete the "." this time. 5. Sign out and sign in again and Voila!! You'll successfully logged into your user account but all your app settings would be lost. And when you restart PC issue persists again. To solve this. 6 Go to settings and find restore points. Click on show more restore points. Set your PC to a restore point about a week or 2 weeks ago. Wait about 15 minutes for your PC to roll back to the selected restore point. Voila!! No more issue when pc restarts. You can now log in successfully and all app settings restored.

I am posting here, as I am in hopes that it will be seen by you, a opposed to older videos. I don't really have a need for this video as I don't use Windows 11 (but I'm sure many do), but have used your tutorials in the past, and found them some of the best that are out there. One of the reasons that I'm posting this it that I'm finding myself logging-in to KZbin less and less frequently. I use ad-blocking software and YT is getting more and more aggressive in battling this. May I suggest to you, to get (if you haven't already done so) an Odysee account as an alternative to YT, just in case things change. It's always nice not to have all your eggs in one basket. Subbed and Liked ... keep up the great work and good luck !

I recommend you don’t waste your time. I’ve got three computers running windows 10 I just spent three weeks walking back and forth between them only to have this still not work. That was after putting it off for about a year because I knew what an ass ache it was going to be. All I want to do is move my photos around and maybe play some games on the lan but those days are gone. The gods at Microsoft want you using their one drive crap so the got rid of home groups and work groups and it really isn’t working anymore and honestly ? It never really did . I was always having to try and set it up again after I forgot how I did it .
