We thought the common areas were really good. It’s a pretty new ship so I doubt they will change them anytime soon.

The weather in summer is very hot. We were there in late August which is a hot time of year for sure. Great for swimming but tiring just walking around.

Needs commentary and not just goofy music. I could only tell what islands he was visiting b/c I had been there. Videos should be informative for prospective travelers.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was so fun to watch, the music and scenic shots were 100% FANTASTIC. My sister is coming home today from cruise to Eastern Caribbean - Celebrity-Silhouette - Her Departure FLL - Ports of Call: St. Maarten, Barbados, Trinidad-Scarborough, St. Lucia, St. John's Antigua. Now I know what she got to see in some of the same places. Marvelous!

Just booked this ship today for a 4 day Key West/Bahamas cruise 4-18-24 out of FLL…very excited to try Celebrity. Previous 2 cruises were with Princess and are booked on Carnival Horizon 2-15-25 to ABC islands.

In Basseterre,we are booked for an excursion called ... encounter with dolphins... with Celebrity. We had also wanted to go to Timothy Hill . Would it be possible to return and do that with a private company? We have 11 hours in the port but would like to be back at the ship not long after lunch. We leave the port at 6. This is only our second cruise.

Nice video! Wife and I are planning to do the Caribbean on the Edge as soon as this Covid situation resolves enough to allow it. Just out of curiosity, what port and nice resort area is that at the 1O:43 mark?

Hopefully we can sail again in 2021. We had heaps of fun on this cruise and the Edge is so special. That resort is just the cruise port in Costa Maya. You can walk around for free. Heaps to do and see just in the port area.

You were very lucky to have got such a clear view of Mt. Fuji from the Bullet Train at that time of the year. Outside winter mornings, it is often too hazy. I am glad to see you had a wonderful trip.

Reagan and April Bax thanks! We are in Florence tonight and I’m looking at how close it is to the S. Margherita L train station. We are going to spend the day in Portofino. Then head back to Florida (My wife works at the Portofino Hotel in Orlando, so she’s super excited to see the real thing) how did you get from the Hotel to Portofino?

@@CFLARROW We took the bus to Portofino. You can buy tickets in the hotel lobby for the bus! But we took the ferry ride back as its just so beautiful to see the area looking back from the sea. Ive been to the Portofino hotel in Orlando and its great but its got nothing on the real place. Make sure you go up the hill to Castello Brown as its got the best views of the area.

Reagan and April Bax yeah I’m looking at Google earth trying to plan. The bus there seems to be the way to go. The ferry sounds amazing. I’ll look up Castello Brown now! Thanks for all the advice. It’s kind of intimidating not speaking Italian and not having any cell service unless you’re at a WiFi hot spot.

On the next cruise out. My second cruise. Carnival was great . Went to Catalina and on to Ensenada. Seen the big blow hole. Other than border town gifts and what not,nothing to get off the ship for.

Great vid thanks. We are doing the same cruise in April so was interesting watching this. As first time cruisers, was embarkation fairly easy and quick to get on the ship? Also any of the excursions or day trips you really recommend? Thank you

Andy B you will enjoy the cruise. You tube videos and a Facebook group will make sure you know everything before you go. Get to port at 9am to get on ship by 11. We didn’t do any excursions but each place you go to is fantastic. Enjoy.

Hi. I´m Elisabet, a spanish girl. Maybe I Will go the next month with Joy in the same itinerary. I had asked to ncl by phone if there are soya or almon milk (vegetal milk) at the ship and the worker say me " I dont knoy, I think no". I´m dissapointed about that, I traveled whit Epic and then I traveled with Royal , I like Royal; and now I Would know joy and this places but the customer service is poor in my opinion. Do you remember if there was vegetal milk in the buffet for breakfast. Thank you so much

Elisabet garcia perez hi yes I am sure they do have good options for almond or soy milk on the ship. Just ask the crew and they will set you up. Enjoy.

Elisabet garcia perez that was our first cruise with Norwegian. We thought it was brilliant. We would go on them again for sure. It’s a family cruise line so if you have kids with you I think it’s a great option. Their new big ships are all fantastic from what we can see. Go for it.

Elisabet garcia perez yes Norwegian have single cabins so perfect if cruising alone. Heaps to do on board so you will have no problem finding things to keep you entertained. Go for it.
