Please explain to me why people drive their sleds like they are riding their wives...WTF is up with the continuous none stop throttle stabbing...I've owned many snowmobiles including a 2000 T-cat and never continuously stabbed the throttle like that on any of them.

Sounds like stock gearing and clutching. You could figuratively pull 105... not enough torque in them XLT monoblocks for that unless you have a long open run. Drop a tooth on the top, add a tooth to the bottom in the chain case. Limits you under 100 mph, but what a difference at trail speeds. 10mb or 10mw weights & a new blue spring in primary. Leave driven stock but with a fresh spring. These sleds seldom blow a belt, but keep a fresh one on it.... Took down many a bigger, newer sled with my 95 xcr 600.

Had a 98 zrt 800 with the PSI 1004 kit. M10 rear skid and 10 inch front end kit. Badder than a thundercat rode like a cadilac. Went 6.51 seconds in 500 ft on hard snow and a 250lb rider. Killer sled.

95 xcr… ?? I,m a 25 year Polaris mechanic…. Was our busy days in shop… warranty warranty…. That triple was worst put out that year… twins were so much more reliable in 95… then in 96 Fuji had casereed bottom ends … much better. 95 ,s over carbed… spun bearings… JUNK in my eyes.
