Hopefully you can help me with the problem I'm having with my T5 thermostat. It has been installed since 2019 and worked fairly well up until the outside temp. dropped to -10F. The furnace will not cycle often enough. The max setting on the CPH is 12 which means every 5 minutes. The temp. in our house dropped to 60 degrees. The Honeywell help desk has not been able to help. I reinstalled me old Honeywell thermostat and the furnace works correctly. Is there any way this CPH feature can be disabled, or am I going to have to buy another brand of thermostat? Thank you for your help..

I would’ve liked to see a demonstration of the hook up without the C wire.

Does it work on the ring app?

I would like to have had a more detailed description of the wiring since that’s the issue most people have trouble with. Did you have a “C” wire? Do you have four wires or five

I literally got mine to go through all the wifi steps. Thermostat screen said connected and shows wifi bars. My xfinity app shows it being connected. But my Honeywell all is just stuck on the part where it’s the last step and the wifi name of the thermostat shows up on it. In installed the app and everything idk I’m at a loss and really wish it would work

will it automatically switch from cool to heat and heat to cool? during the spring and fall this has been an issue for me when its hot during the day and cold when the temperature falls overnight. Also, does the occupancy sensor override the geofencing?

Can you turn off the ac/heat remotely from my cellular if I forgot to turn off before I left home?

You can control the thermostat functionality remotely from the Honeywell app.

Can i control the temperature from work 40miles away?
@aroundtownwithtjandcreativ61843 жыл бұрын
Distance isn't an issue so long as you have internet connection on your cell. You can control all functionality through the Honeywell app or potentially through a 'hub' of some sort.

You mentioned "from 5 miles away" - twice. Is that the range ? What if I'm far away and flying home that day - can I not turn the air conditioning on my phone in the state of Washington (for eg)and arrive 4 hours later in Minnesota (for eg) to have the temp I set while in Washington?

Hey Rick. I can't speak for being out of state but we use the honeywell app from many miles away to manually change our cooling settings. As long as we have internet on our phone we can make changes to the thermostat. When I refer to the distance (5miles) that is in reference to setting up geofencing... I am not sure if there is a specific range for geofencing... but basically you need to have location services running on the app and you can set the thermostat to make changes based on your proximity to approaching the property. So perhaps you are driving home from work. You could have it set to change temperature to 'x' when you are 2 miles away. Does that make more sense? :)
