Fathers book is very expensive. Who's ready to bring out $500 for a book. At this time Igbo people need all the books they can get to know their history.

Is it earthworm (Idide) or flowing water (Idei)? I think that the right thing to say is “Ofo ka idei ji awa ani or ana!” Meaning “the flowing water uses truth, justice, and authority to split the earth!”

Disappointments are fully represented when you end up recycling your unforgivable and unforgettable mindset... 😂 *STORY RECYCLER * 😮 I tried seeing the logical connections towards your topic entitled destructive whatever... 😮 Recycling stories here and there and yearly by yearly... 😮Extension of horizon is necessary in other fields of life... 😮 Repetition prescription is boring and leads to disinterested...😢

It never made sense to me when i see black people with english names like robert, james, richard, etc. this cant be african names?!?! Jesus’ real name was Isa in arabic and Isho in aramaic. The greek used by white europeans is jesus. Even the name is inaccurate. Isa or Isho was arab/moor how is his name jesus???? A greek name??? Let’s open our eyes!! Not only they have colonised us they have also hijacked God’s religion!!!

Who is Mami Wata biological people?? The original people (BLACKS)in North America was called: COPPER PEOPLE. The original people in Jamaica was called: KALI-NAGA/ KALI-NAGOS, these people was CANNIBALS. I personally believe where there is CANNIBALS, there are seeds of Mami Wata/Reptilians.....

Have you heard of residential schools? What the church has done to the indigenous people? Forced Christianity or we will be killed!!! They colonized Yeshua! Calling Him jesus when there’s no j in His language

The Balkanization of Africa, colonialism and neocolonialism reduced Africa to your so called “children’s race,” by taking original African nations away from the Indigenous peoples, and handed these lands and resources to Colonial puppets (not leaders), hence the lack of leadership structure you spoke of. We MUST decolonize Africa/Nigeria, bring down colonial structures and constitutions before we can see progress and development in Africa

Please the concept of “Azuka” is not talking about literal “back,” as opposite of “Iru” (front or future), rather it’s about your “human support system.” Because in Igbo tradition, we believe that one’s human support system (those behind you) is superior to one’s individual wealth. Hence the full phrase is “Azukaego.” Literally, your “back” (network or support system) is more than (superior to) money. A better example of the concept of Binary/Duality in Igbo tradition should be plain “Iru” and “Azu,” “elu”/enu and “Ala/ana,” male and female etc. Thanks 🙏
@Ekwy20239 ай бұрын
In Igbo tradition differences is not a problem at all. You’ve already spoken of binary and duality. The issue we have is using differences as an excuse to perpetuate or propagate injustice, unfairness and lack of equity; this is the issue we have with British Nigeria. We believe that there is strength in diversity, so far there’s equity and fairness

I applaud her for trying but there are so much misrepresentations and lacks in her litterature on the Ayitian practices and understanding of Mami Wata, Ezili, La Siren and else. Hope she continues her research and takes more time to understand the African ancestral knowledge she will report on. Again, well done for trying.
