Thank you a very relaxing video 👍🏼 I find that just being out in nature is enough even if I don’t see anything. I have subscribed to you I also have a channel that’s very new as I am new to KZbin but I’m finding it helps get my mind off work just for that one day out

I grew up on a small farm in Sweden, and have spent many hours in the forests.. But never met one of our big four. However, I would rather not meet a brown bear still. They are unpredictable to a degree, and have been known to stalk and kill people, although very rarely.
@haydnthomasphotography80842 ай бұрын

Norway is mostly all coastline so the temperate waters of the gulfstream makes it a warmer and a milder climate than Sweden. If you are interested in photographing wild bears I can recommend the forests around Älvdalen in Dalarna, there are a lot of bear encounters there.
@haydnthomasphotography80843 ай бұрын
Sweden was so wild, we spent a week around Mora and lake siljan and I eventually filmed bear in Kungsberg in western edge of Dalarna, awesome experience.

Great video, The watchtower is most likely used for bird watching. The Swedish ants are great builders, I have seen nests bigger than myself in both length and width.
@haydnthomasphotography80843 ай бұрын
Thanks for the info on the tower, and that’s a scary thought that they get bigger than the ones i saw!

My Sony camcorder from 2009 has 1080p night vision and its amazing. Its truly HP night vision. It has a built-in IR light but if you use a larger IR light source then its like daytime black and white.
@haydnthomasphotography80843 ай бұрын
That’s awesome, especially as it’s from 2009, thanks for taking the time to tell me about it!👍
@UCs6ktlulE5BEeb3vBBOu6DQ3 ай бұрын
@@haydnthomasphotography8084 There's a fairly bigger button than the other that make the camcorder remove its IR filter from over its cmos sensor. It makes a loud claaack when it does. Then you get the night vision.

These reindeer are semi domesticated, belong to the Sami. Pure wild reindeer are only found in some Norwegian area's like Forolhogna, Hardangervidda or Dovre Fjell.
@haydnthomasphotography80843 ай бұрын
Yep, I filmed a large migrating herd from Dovrefjell’s Snohetta summit end of August, along with the Musk Oxen. I’ve mentioned that the Sami own Reindeer in Sweden on a few videos now.👍

Congratulations on your videos, I'm telling you from Spain. I really like your videos, even though I have to use the translator on the TV because unfortunately I don't speak English. But I really enjoy watching them. I'm sorry you didn't have any screenshots these days, but I'm sure you'll be rewarded next time. Cheer up and on to the next video. Greetings.
