I tried for 3 months to get parts for it and failed miserably. It had been an integral part of my family for more than 30 years. I loved that stove. The one that replaced it, looks pretty, but doesn't have the same homely feel about it. The man who tried to help me had been dealing with Rayburn's since he had worked as an apprentice in the business. I really did try hard to keep my beautiful cooker.

We were lucky. There was a storm, everyone went home! When the storm passed it was overcast and they were able to do the fireworks.

We didn't do it, but we were very tempted. I absolutely loved that hotel. The roof top pool was my favourite, though I spent hours in the circular pool. I hope you have as good a time as we had!

Hi just come across your video. We are also going to this hotel in April 25 for 2 weeks. Can tell you are South Wales UK. I'm in north Wales. Flying with Emirates any downside to the hotel how far is to kata Central example retraunts and bars etc. Been before but stopped in karon went to kata few times by taxi bikes an experience but real cheap option. Remember finding a area which had little bars up by the night market like In the middle of the street and either side big bars. Quite lively music as well live bands.

looks like you had a great time. we are going this year, looks like the pitches a re a bit bigger than advertised, a bit worried about having enough room for our awning but looks like there is pleanty of room, did you stay on the electric hook up area- that is all we could get for this year?

No we were not in the electric hook up. I used my gas cooker and lamps. I wouldn't worry about your awning I found the stewards very helpful. I had trouble reversing my caravan so one of them jumped in the car with me to help me out. As long as you are polite and appeal to their kind side, one of them helped me with the legs of my caravan too. It was a great experience right on our doorstep.

@@thatsthatthen5980 Thanks for the helpful response, we could only get EHU, they told my wife they are all EHU. this year. we are only just up the road by cardiff Airport, lookingforward to next weekend, lets hope the weathe rholds up 🙂

I don’t get seasick, thankfully. But I do get queasy with headaches/migraines. I take a tablet (Kwell) and they work fine. You can also have a wristband or try green apples, ginger anything, and standing out in fresh air as you watch the horizon. Other than that, sleep is awesome if you can manage it. Hope it didn’t put you off cruising.

After 24 hours I was as right as rain. I had a thoroughly good time, as you will see from the other videos I posted and thank you for your advice that I will certainly use next time!
