Yes she was! I am thankful we still have her mother, daughter, and granddaughter. Despite the best medical care - never discovered what the reason was. She was 8 plus and passed peacefully on our couch.

She is a great granddaughter of Guard Rail. Her dam is a granddaughter of Guard Rail (sire was Caladen’s Storm Trooper - a son of Guard Rail), and also a great granddaughter of Guard Rail Spirit - another late son of Guard Rail. The pup’s sire is primarily Elhew (with some Guard Rail further back in his pedigree.

i had a lab puppy bred for duck hunting she came outta the litter already knowing how to fetch and loving the water. genetics are fascinating.

Smartest dog I ever had. And I've had full blooded lab. I had a golden chow mix so beautiful so smart untrainable. Untouchable. But my pointer Bullet is so easy to train. If he's not doing exactly what I want then I'm slacking. He is stubborn but eager to please and so beautiful. Like yours. I love the solid white. But something about their spots and masks that I just love

We call these dogs pot hounds (mutts) in the Caribbean but they're actually a breed!

They are American bred pointers. Pedigrees are with the Field Dog Stud Book which began in 1874. The Field Dog Stud Book was recently purchased by the United Kennel Club. These pups are great grand pups of a Famous Hall of Fame Champion named Guard Rail. They are bird dogs.
