The best of the best, to be sure, but where's her high C on "even though"...? Gone every time. What weird edit is that??

This is beautiful music, but for a few people to think that talent is disappearing, you all are so deaf to not realize that talent is just increasing with every new generation. Just go out and listen to these new, beautiful songs

A favourite amongst many favourites from Alison and co. Brilliant.
Used to listen on the car radio to this heaven-sent voice singing this beatiful song when driving back home after hours of hard work. Late 90´s, when the whole world seemed to be going to better places to live better times and to allow all people to enjoy their lives.

Wore it out after my dad took his life in '93. Would drive from Atlanta to Gainesville ( Fl.) On Friday night, pick up the kids and go to the beach for the weekend. .and drive back Sunday nights...for a year.

I know it's not Gordon Lightfoot, but still... there is nothing Alison Krauss sings that isn't tasteful, emotional, and beautiful. She can cover anything she wants as far as I'm concerned. I'd trust her to redo Mt Rushmore and still do a wonderful job. And this band... my God this band. Can they lay down a lush blanket that floats like a cloud, but has groove and rhythm all at the same time or what?

I love this rendition AND YET the video carefully avoids any fret work by Tony Rice, implying that what we hear is not happening any this session. Just saying.

What a voice. A brilliant arrangement of a sixties classic. She doesn't need any effects or pyrotechnics to sustain her performance. Just her, her voice and her violin, modestly dressed and modest in her demeanour, despite her astonishing talent. Ditto the band, all fine players. 24 years deep into this terrible 21st century, this gladdens the heart.

I wanted this song at my wedding that never happened. She was on the other side of the world, and I would sing and cry with this song, and hope for the impossible. I never found another with whom I wanted to spend the rest of my life. I'm now 72, and still single. She was the one, and this was the song....the most perfect song! Hello Again!

The power of music. The power of love. Jennifer Nettles sang this while Neil was in the audience. It's on KZbin. A different but another beautiful version of this beautiful song.
