Hi ! I was also confused as I didn’t see/get any acknowledgment form after applying. I believe it’s the same as the appointment slip. Just make sure you have your Application form, appointment slip and receipt along with other documents stated in the video and you should be good to go !

You don’t need the hard copy of your NIN, you just need the details in it and make sure it has the EXACT information your passport has.

Honestly it took a while because I had NIN issues , but generally I think it takes about 4 - 6 weeks

Hi ! I would advise you to start your application to renew your passport in Canada ASAP so by January you should have your new passport, it’s honestly better and more convenient to travel with a valid passport to avoid issues from the airline

Hi, no you can’t get your passport on the same day, if you don’t have any issue with your NIN it should take about 2 - 3wks to get it back. For the expired passport “You can, but some airlines may not approve your trip, so we advice you apply for an Emergency Travel Certificate to go and return with your Canadian passport( if you have one or PR card) . Check the website for details of the requirement for ETC (this answer was gotten from their website)

Honestly to be safe, just use individual envelopes or when you get to Ottawa there are different Canada post offices close, so you can confirm from the high commission office and if they advise you to, get a big sized envelop that would be enough for 10 passports . For the money order, I believe it is for each application.

Alternatively, you can send an email to [email protected] to get confirmation, they reply almost immediately
