Sorry, I do not agree with the choice of song even though Olivia has a sweet voice. The lyrics is about a very, very serious emotional dependance. Merlin, the warlock younger than Arthur, had not this dependancy,. He was friendly, faithful, sweet, happy type who had great responsibilities for his young age: his destiny. BUT did Arthur deserved to have the young Warlock in his life because he was so mean, arrogant and bullied him all the time. It is only when he was told that Merlin was the greatest warlock and needed him the most if he wanted to survive that Arthur started to see Merlin for what he really was. A little late ...

This story brings me so much hope. As someone who so closely aligns with Sherlock's experiences and John's desire to help those in need, this story brings me hope that I'll find people who love me purely. I think I finally found one person and i hope that is true. She is my Watson as I am hers. Not romantic, but best friends who love eachother with everything they have. I think they have a beautiful relationship. A deep love for one another. But I never saw romantic or sexual love between them. Just the truest of friendships. It is so rare to see two male characters on film/tv have a close friendship that isn't either romantic or comedic. Society had to invent the word 'bromance' to try to give it a name, despite there being no equivalent for two female friends.

Is there actually any media where these two do end up together? I was heart broken by the fact that Sherlock didn't say "I've always loved you" before he left when you could clearly see he wanted to and John WANTED to hear it even if he wasn't sure he could return it. It seems like such a waste that the show ended how it did, especially when you see this video that proves the conflict John had but how they still loved each other. I feel like John should have at least tried after all the shit they went through together.

I recently finished watching this drama. I don't know what I have been watching until now. I have been wondering how to describe the relationship between John and Sherlock. But now I understand.
