What a patronising voice . Are US travellers really that naive? If they are, perhaps they should stay at home until they grow up?

I totally disagree with your comments about the Eilean Donan castle! It was well worth the price of admission. As for your comment about no pictures, I was there in September 2022, and the only room we could not take pictures in was the great hall. The kitchen was most impressive, and their gift shop was the best one we visited during three weeks of travelling around Scotland. Your comments about the tricky roads were misleading. The road to Portree was excelelnt. Your video was of the route north of Portree, and yes, that was not fun to drive on.

Scotland is much better than you described driving is all part of the experience if you think the roads on Skye are bad try the roads on the Ardnamurchan peninsula I didnt get any positive vibes from your vlog. I'm pleased we have had 30+ years of holidaying in that beautiful interesting country

Thank you! How to take the train from the airport?
@TravelParkExplore11 ай бұрын
If you exit the international arrivals area of Terminal 2, there will be an overhead sign above the Pret A Manger cafe pointing towards the direction of The Station. Go past Pret A Manger and keep following the overhead signs labeled The Station. You will then need to take the lift (elevator) or escalator to get to the upper floor to get to the Skylink (walkway) that will take you to the train station. It is about a 10 minute walk to the station from Terminal 2. Thanks for watching!

I live in Scotland, and we in Scotland take English money but in England they may not take Scottish money. My husband was in the Royal Navy and I was in a clothing shop getting School uniforms as we had just moved to Plymouth,I handed over £200 in Scottish money and was told they could not accept it. I was a young mother and it was 1989 . I felt myself going beetroot and asked to see the manager who was very nasty and said it was not legal tender. I told him I would shop elsewhere , he was very upset as he did not realise I was spending so much money . Unfortunately to this day a lot of English shops refuse to take Scottish money even though it is legal tender and they are the ones breaking the law. If you have Scottish money left and are visiting England please either spend it in Scotland or ask for English money.

Great video and hope it makes people come to visit us in Scotland. On the weather and clothing it can be very variable but as Sir Billy Connely said “There is no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing!”

Migies are tiny swarming wee gits, but they hate Tea Tree Oil so dab on your wrists, ankles, neck and behind ears. Dab the oil on bites for relief they can be very irritating just like the midges themselves. Locals in the North West of Scotland will where fine mesh over there faces and gloves (it's not just sun block for our pail blue skin).

If you're going by car to visit the castle (and there are only two of you), the best thing to do is drive to the park and ride and then catch the bus which takes you all the way up to the castle.

What room in Blair castle is 12:09? Where you can see the medieval stonework of the castle and the later additions? I was trying to find where this was on a virtual tour but couldn't find it. Thanks
