When you have the pinch bolts removed on the forks what do you do next to remove them? Everyone cuts that part out. I have a damaged front end and im trying to find out if the forks can come out from the bottom

Happy new year Rob, I've been watching you since you were first learning wheelies on your Grom. I got my Grom around the same time as you, but then mine got stolen. It took me a while to get another bike, and I got into other things so my wheelie practice stopped. It's crazy to see how far you have come. Tearing it up. Congrats on your first show!!!

Hmm, is the foot on the seat there the "rodeo" position? I almost like the look better than knee knocker. Seems like it's more for circles though. Maybe I'll give it a shot doing straight line stuff

I’m really confused, I got the brake down and I get get it up. I don’t really know if I’m getting or staying at balance point. I just ride the wheelies out till rev limiter. Regardless of if I’m chasing them out, if I do get to bp then I have to brake really hard to not loop because I don’t understand how to include throttle, no one teaches this in these videos.
@RobRippin2 ай бұрын
If you're hitting rev limiter that 100% means you're chasing them still. The front wheel needs to get higher to actually hit balance point. And when you do it's a balancing act between throttle and brake. You only need the smallest amount of throttle when at balance point, I explain that in all the tutorial videos.
@craftyboi91692 ай бұрын
@ I end up riding the brake, I’m not sure how to add in throttle control
@RobRippin2 ай бұрын
@@craftyboi9169 Like I said its a balancing act between how much throttle and brake to use. It just takes seat time. Check out my how to learn footbrake vid, should give you some more insight

The f4i I brought has rusted out bolts holding the radiator with no heads LOL. I never removed a radiator before. bottom bracket is gone so I don’t need to worry about loosen that! I ordered one from a 929 same thing. But I seen you loosen radiator from the left, will it be loose when I drill it out? Does the opposite side also have a bolt? Both sides appear equally as rusted on mine trying to fit this new shiny radiator lol
@RobRippin2 ай бұрын
Opposite side should just have a knub off the frame the radiator hangs on

Killen it man came a long ways from the grom videos, when your popping it up do you already have your body position and ready to dip or you move your body after been struggling on doing circles
@RobRippin3 ай бұрын
Are you talking about handbrake or footbrake circles? It's a little different between the two
@davidsanseverino96123 ай бұрын
@ handbrake, when I sit down I already have most my weight to one side but when I do it standing up the bike just wants to cut in or learn to one side before I can get it up to balance point
@RobRippin3 ай бұрын
@@davidsanseverino9612 Gotta counter it by staying centered on the initial clutch up and once its tall enough let the bike dip in, don't fight it. Let it clutch up straight first then dip in

@Gromstin3 ай бұрын
You could definitely do a junction valve, it’s cheaper but you have to make sure to bleed it properly that way you only use your stock rear caliper all u need is the junction valve, brake line and master!
