Well and truley late to the Party but most that make those kind of comments haven't tried or checked the legality of tbe real steel versions, even in more Gun friendly countries stuff like fully Automatic firing weapons etc is restricted and hard to come by if you can even get them at all (HK is a good example for not allowing public purchase). With a Rep theres more places you can shoot it, less harm can be done with it and if you get bored of it its a lot easier to sell on than a real gun. You may have already learned about it but that dry fire switch is for Prop use as you don't want any projectiles on your set or stage etc, just the noise and action of the Gun to make your scene believable.

If anyone needs a cartridge belt, look for .357 or .38 special cartridge holders.

I muck about with primarily Air Guns and they usually have a higher impact force and it's why UK dwellers won't see Auto on a 4.5 BB or Pellet version of a Gun when they've seen it on an Airsoft version as the UK has a power limit for Auto, its also why I cringe when I see some markets in other countries selling air guns as airsoft and vice versa, you do not want to be shooting your friends even in armour with an Air gun and you don't want to be using Airsoft for live quarry.

Im convinced they just stopped making airsoft M79’s all together because I have searched on literally every possible airsoft website and it’s sold out (evike did say they’re available at their stores but idk if it’s true or not)

Bought it a month ago or something like that. Had some feeding issues with it. But after removing the rubber from the mag, it works very well. Lovely gun to shoot with, the sound, the handling. And also very solid. Last time i was out, i was rushing. And had a nasty fall. 110kg directly on this. Some part of the butt stock got destroyed. Stil works, but not as tight as before. Anything else works fine stil :)
