I think I like his bass. A metal, bronze here, pickup guard looks great. Plus, it saves out copper tape or conductive paint. If you'd make an iron one, the magnetic field changes, think about a Tele bridge pickup. No idea if such a tinkered bass sounds better or worse, this bronze should not influence the magnets, anyway. I guess that is a hint. Maybe I should try, for Tele bridge is a big deal, everybody should know, it sounds different from, say, a Strat bridge pickup. And the shape of the magnetic field is causing that. In fact it is easy to understand, the strings vibrate, that changes the field, and that causes the coil to give a tiny signal. So, if the field is any different, we can hear that. How? Ask good Tele players. What I hope is, that a bass bridge pickup gets interesting, when giving it that Telecaster design. Does it already exist? Anyone?

Which basses were played on Seven Years and Lasso the Moon? Seven Years sounds definitely fretless. Lasso sounds like an effect was added to the bass's sound.

I bought these exact strings for my Ibanez SR300. I was amazed at the sound options they give. I've been using the wrong strings this whole time. I am never using another brand ever again. I may even try their guitar strings.

I've been a fan of you, Suzi, since I was young teenager. In school we had leather sewing. My mother and I went to a shop i Copenhagen and bought some leather for my savings. My mother made a suit out of bed linen to see how it fit me - and then I cut and sewed a leather suit for myself in the sewing lessons, while the rest of the class sewed pencil cases and little Buby Bears. 😂😀 My teacher said good for my project, as long as she did not have to help me. It came out well and I used my smart suit, mostly for parties. 🤩

I remember trying these strings on Spector bass I had just purchased and they just didn’t quite give me the tone I was after, it seemed super slinky worked best with that bass. But I then put the rotosounds on my Lakland DJ5 and woooww they were perfect for that bass, I don’t understand it but it was just the exact tone I was looking for. Definitely will be using these for my jazz basses in the future.
