Hey! About the rest mode. I understand you said it takes old heat and recirculates it, but do you know how? Should you activate it before you turn the car off, for next time, or should you activate it when you get in again? Also, have you ever had trouble with the vacuum central locking? My fuel door circuit is bogged and the locking pin won't move. Thanks!
@CMCSBENZ14 күн бұрын
@@kikowner so the rest feature relies on the battery- it will use heat from the engine like normal after driving, using energy from the battery. So after driving, if you know you will be getting in the car again soon, click on the rest feature and the car will stay warm. If you are gone for a while, the rest feature will turn off by itself when it becomes too much of a drain on the battery. And about the vacuum issue, I would recommend asking the forums on BenzWorld.

I think instead of buying a $500 car with a lot of miles, you might have wanted to buy a more expensive one like around 3k instead. Then the car would probably have less maintenance cost and it would have less miles witch probably caused some of those issues
@meganoobbg338729 күн бұрын
The only unreasonable price is the 1600$ insurance. Is it more expensive cuz you're a young driver? Mine was like 50% more expensive until i turn 25. Other than that though, any car that you bought for just 500$ is bound to have it's repairs exceed that. It makes sense on any car, if you're trying to have it near 100% functional and refurbished.

Thats not that hard to fix. Spring and shock are separated even in the front with most old Mercedes models. While youre at it, check all the other suspension parts for corrosion - mainly the rear which has a clipped on plastic cover over the lower control arm. Greetings! 😁
