My 2015 got torque converter chatter at 190k did 2 drain and flushes on the transmission and added a torque converter fix addative and that lasted another 50k just did another drain and fill at 240k everything working great.

Good review thank you. You should check out “rock auto” they sell those lock actuators for around 20 dollars a piece. And you can find a quick video usually on how to pop your door panel off and swap it pretty quickly.

VV-I change both Timing chain tensioner. , pvc, valve I change them at 105,000 miles. It started the cold start rattle. Change motor oil every 5,000 miles. Oh, Get it Rust proved not undercoat. Rust prove it every year or every 2 years. Is cost $100 to $200 bucks. It will help stop the rust.

What do you recommend for rustproofing? And also what is this about a cold start rattle?
@HatBilly200828 күн бұрын
@ KZbin Toyota, colt star rattle, The cam phasers on the two top camshafts go bad overtime . They’ll need to be replaced and timing chain tensioner will also, these are 100,000 mile replacement. Rust proofing, they drill holes in your car and treated with an oil compound that stops the rust and moisture . If it’s it won’t rust from the salt. You can KZbin rustproofing to understand how it works , and I live in Michigan and yes, it works
@bruceknows28 күн бұрын
Today is the first time I hear the rattle you are talking about. If it goes away after a couple of seconds then runs fine I don’t see a need to repair it. But, thanks for the heads up I’ll keep an eye on it. I’ll look into the rustproofing as well. I love this RAV4 and it’s paid off so it’s staying with me forever! Thanks for watching!

Hello Bruce. We are a family of four and we just bought a 2015 RAV5 limited as our first car with 97k miles on it for $10,500. Everything inside and outside is nice and the ride quality is excellent. Feels like a 3-year old car. We are glad we choosed a RAV4 just like you did.

Just bought a 2021 Murano with 4,100 miles (not a typo, church lady leased it and now cannot drive). I love it. I had an '09 Altima that I loved and was totaled. The Murano is similar-it steers like its on rails, has plenty of pickup and go power, spacious interior, nice tech and features and I love the look and feel.

I traded my 2014 Maxima in on a 2020 Murano Platinum AWD with 25,000 miles on it. I wasn't really looking for it, but it had some features that the Max didn't have (and I loved that car, same engine as the Murano but with 30 more hp, but whatta ya gonna do?) I wanted AWD, and wanted to sit a bit higher to see better. I have only had it for about 3 months, and have had it on a 1000 mi trip, and I love it. It feels like a lifted AWD Maxima.
@bruceknows3 ай бұрын
Damn that’s awesome brother. How about those cooled seats? I traded my Murano (the one in this video) for a Nautilus (also on a different video). The nautilus has better cooled seats (it was the no1 feature that lifted it above others considered), but the Lincoln seats and legroom don’t hold a freaking candle to the Murano. Thanks for watching! I love hearing people’s stories about cars in my videos.

@@bruceknows I've only used them once, so far, kind of strange, kind of like you just got out of a pool. lol (I've never had them before) I'm sure I'll use them more though. I love the heated stuff when it's cold. The Murano's other assets are worth the 30 hp "pay cut"

V10 Renault F1 won 12 constructor championship and 11 driver championship. Not good in technology ? They have airbus and Arianne rocket for space, nuclear reactors and nuclear bombs. And… the CERNS, where they create matter out of energy and search for new subatomic particles. But… you only know wine and cheese about the French.

It’s just so stale….grossly overdue for a complete redo. Here’s hoping the 2025 is a huge change but still stylish ahead of its time. If it ends up looking like an Ariya with an engine it will be a miss by Nissan. I own a 2023 Murano and I’m disappointed with the old school tech and the rubber band performance with the CVT. New Murano really needs a 9 speed automatic

Agree on all points. But, they are still selling well because they tick all the equipment boxes when you cross shop. I also think that they continue to be class leaders in ride, seat comfort, and quietness. Thanks for watching!

While the review feels a bit on the frantic side I think you touched on most of the important points. I think Bruce actually knows. This is coming from a 2007 WRX "sport wagon" owner who had his car for 12 years. It sounds like other than the old hatchback and weird EJ25 engine, the new WRX is pretty decent and true to its origins.

AWD Manual Good overall price Visibility Enough power to have fun White canvas for mods, lots of aftermarket parts. -Bad: Terrible fuel consumption No Driving modes ( in base version) Noisy inside No DRL lights ( Base version) No good finishing inside. I bought a 2019 Murano brand new in January of 2020. Over 68K and so far so good! No problems whatsoever. My goal is 300,000 miles but maybe 200-250 might be more realistic. Gonna keep changing tranny fluid every 35-40K. Do all oil changes myself every 2,500-3,000 miles. I know thats more frequent than most people do, but I've heard these engines have a tendency to burn oil or have problems if not taken care of so I'm cautious. Never had to add a drop of oil between changes.

Luxurious compared to things like the Nautilus you recently reviewed?
@bruceknows8 ай бұрын
Surprisingly yes. BMW has better interior finish (far, far better), better driving position (also by far), better seat comfort, and almost as quiet. I think the X3 suspension is just about as forgiving without feeling floaty. The Lincoln's seats are subpar, and the legroom is almost unacceptable. The Lincoln's interior finishes are not as well put together. The doors sound weak. As a 30 year old, all that makes the BMW X3 better than the Nautilus. As a 50 year old? I prefer the Lincoln's floatiness - it makes for a more relaxed cruising experience. Also, the 360 camera and cooled seats are game changers that tip the scale in favor of the Lincoln.
