To everyone asking why they couldn't use the original mask: William Shatner's publicist/attorney threatened a cease and desist if his likeness was used in another film. Not until recently, did he and his legal team ease up.

From what I hear they're doing a whole new sculpt but great job with the repaint.

@@JONNYDRIPDRIP2002 well over 40 years the mask would've deformed a bit and changed shape. I and a lot of fans are gonna wanna see an accurate mask to the 1978 hero after all the sequels couldn't do it. The 2018 clean is cool but an accurate 1978 replica is what I think they would go for.

When it comes to Halloween sequels I'll always watch any of them at least once. If it's something I liked I can watch over and over again. If I didn't like it then I can't. So the only ones I can always watch are the original Halloween , Halloween 2 (1981) , and Halloween 2018.

They shown what a clean Myers mask looked like before. It can be found on Google and it doesn't look like what is in this video. Not hating on the person who uploaded, but you can still see the cracks from the H40 repaint they did.
