Thank you for this conversation and podcast. We also need to re-imagine charity in Africa. From our work on the ground in Uganda, it would appear that just enough is being done to maintain the status quo. #tradenotaid

DEI kills people, cities and societies. Funny that we have 4 very, very wealthy people (some multi millionaires) on the panel talking about "equity". I wonder how much of these peoples personal bank accounts go out to "equity" based causes? Im guessing 0% for most if not all. This is just more buzzword fluff.

Michael, we love you, but you should really look into gradually detoxing out lead and iron overload, in particular. I suspect those are your bigger two causes. I wouldn't touch chelation therapy, but a safer approach is using hair tissue mineral analysis with a development program. I honestly would be surprised if any foundation came to this conclusion in your lifetime. Dr Paul Eck pioneered HTMA readings, and later was refined by Dr L Wilson who uses it with a development program. The good news, Michael, is iron and lead can be detoxed out enough to (hopefully) greatly reduce your symptoms, following this protocol. Daily detox procedures included are coffee enemas and near infrared sauna sessions. All this can be done in your home!

Great discussion. A couple of points that rang home for me - while concerns about inequality are reasonable, it doesn't make sense to worry so much about wealth that has already been committed to charitable purposes e.g., in a private foundation, in a donor advised fund, or a community foundation. The donor can't get it back or spend it on themselves without breaking the law. If you are worried about wealth inequality, then think more about tax policy. (However, I would like to point out that the average American is probably less concerned about wealth inequality than one might think - the majority of Americans are comfortable with the capitalist idea of some people accumulating great wealth - they just want the rules of that accumulation to be fair and transparent.) It is true that the image of philanthropy has taken a beating in the last decade or two, but I'm not entirely sure why. There sure have been some very embarrassing failures (the example that comes to my mind is the Zuckerberg effort with Newark's schools) to solve some very tough problems - but what else is new? It isn't as if other funders had solved such problems either. Such failures are not universal (there are successes) and there is nothing distinctive about them. And for every embarrassing big donation that comes as part of an image management strategy for a disgraced person or corporation, there are gifts from quiet sincere people who clearly just want to do good (McKenzie Scott). So like everything else, philanthropy is a mix of things. Perhaps is it just that some donors were over confident and people had expectations that were just too high? The one critique of a segment of philanthropy that I did think was under explored in the discussion was explicitly corporate philanthropy. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I do think there might be some issues here. This is not the same as the Walton Family Foundation - which is the work of the founding family and part owners of Walmart to do good with what used to be their money - but the work of entities such as the Walmart Foundation, Pfizer Foundation, etc. These corporate giving entities walk a fine line between the commercial interests of their corporate parents and providing a real public benefit. I am afraid that they often defer more to their parents' financial interests and less to the interests of the public. Of course, if their giving was more heavily regulated, they would be more likely to just stop. But they do gain real "brand and marketing" benefits for their giving that need to be weighed against the ostensible public benefits. Or maybe I've just been to too many health "fairs" where the local health plan is "giving away" free blood pressure assessments but more realistically marketing the plan to new potential members using the non-profit organizers of the fair as a fig leaf.

* <<Nice Video....We may either see a reversal and start declining or we may experience a further pump for a while.I'd say outrightly that the space is unpredictable so we shouldn't allow the dynamism of the space tell when to make profit off the market as I have been able to make more than 13 b tc in just September alone.I didn't do that from buying the dip and hodling but implementing trades with the signals provided by Mr Edwin .The mar ket has seen worse situations than currently,so inorder to be able to ride with the wave our assets must be backed up with a medium that would enable us not feel the fall in price at beairsh moments.I'd suggest trad ing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.i left his contacts in the comment below take care!!!!
