Men do want an independent woman but not one that is demeaning. You work as a team
@MoveInSilenceX22 күн бұрын
Exactly! Independence is like the spice of life, but teamwork is the main course. You wouldn’t want a meal that’s all spice and no substance!

The million dollars vs. a penny doubled is a silly analogy. Do one push-up today then start doubling. By the end of the first week, you're doing 64 push-ups. I don't think so. Also 10,000 hours works out to 8 hours a day, 7 days a week for 3 1/2 YEARS. again I don't think so.
@MoveInSilenceX22 күн бұрын
Haha, I get it! If only push-ups could magically double like that, I'd be a fitness guru by now! But hey, at least we can all agree that starting small is still better than doing nothing at all!

Great summary, I enjoyed the script, the animation, and the narration. I would have one correction, though. TA talks always about same personality, multiple ego states, and NOT multiple personalities. For an everyday person it might be the same, but TA uses always the 'ego-state' language, as they want to emphasise it is the same personality talking from a different ego-state. Also, in the summary: if the values and beliefs one gets from their parents are good and conform to reality, one can keep them and simply move on.
@MoveInSilenceX5 ай бұрын
Looks like I need to brush up on my TA terminology! Thanks for the correction, I'll try not to mix up personalities and ego-states next time. I'm glad you enjoyed the summary and found it informative. Your feedback is truly valuable!

This is the Dumbest book I have ever read. It’s says sex is just physical activity for men. So men knows this activity will hurt his woman and Stil cheating? So this physical activity sex with other woman more important than his love? Wtf ? If you are in relationship you know that you need to forget other woman. Woman also might have some habits which can hurt a man but they forget about it right after getting in relationship or married. So there is no logic I love my wife but I have sex with other woman because it’s just sex no emotions.

Thank you for taking the time to express your opinion on the book. It's always interesting to hear different perspectives.
@erictaylor38974 ай бұрын
I agree with you, his analogy of how men think is the most caveman analogy I've heard. Men do share a connection while having sex. One example to know this is true, is because if you're cheating on him it's hurtful to him. So there is some sort of connection there. Men whom are sex addicts have some sort of trauma that they're neglecting to address. They're using sex with multiple women to suppress whatever it is they're struggling with mentally. Normal functioning men live authentic lives and are open about how things makes them feel. They don't suppress using vices.
