Which one would you choose. Sapira or Sapira Chill? Currently have the Sapira but we are going through a warranty claim and getting a new bed. Looking for more support in the middle but do not want to feel like we are sinking. Leaning towards Sapira Chill as our replacement out of the Leesa products.

In April of 2024 we updated our scoring system from version 1.1 to 1.2. These changes impacted every score on site, with all scores going down, as it is more difficult to score the highest scores with our 1.2 system. This page has a complete breakdown of all of our changes - naplab.com/how-we-test-mattresses/explaining-our-2024-updates/ When we made these updates we were able to update all of our scores on NapLab.com to the new 1.2 scoring system. However, videos on our KZbin channel published prior to the score updates we weren’t able to update, so those videos have the original 1.1 scores. I haven't tested the Kluft Serenity, so I cannot say for sure how they compare. But looking at the materials / specs of the Kluft, it's really hard to imagine it's worth the high price.

Both are solid choices. In my view, it's really a question of the type of feel you prefer. Saatva Classic is just that...a more classic and traditional coil / spring type of a feel. Saatva Memory Foam has more body contouring hug. So if you like more contouring and more of the feel of memory foam specifically then absolutely, it's the better choice. I’m so happy to hear that you consider this a Medium/5 in firmless level- that’s what I’m looking for. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how this version and the newer version you're looking at compare. At least on the product page it looks essentially identical to when we ordered. I would be surprised if Costco had made any substantial changes to the materials or feel compared to the mattress we tested.

@@NapLabReviews fill weight is 3lbs different in queen per law tag uploaded to costco.. Could be lower quality foam config. Also. All stearns are made in the same sealy factories, but this is a private label variant for Costco.

Dicounted at $600 currently (queen). Great value for this current price, so bought it to replace Dreamcloud mattress (trial period) which i found too firm as a mostly side sleeper at 165lbs. Thanks for the review!

Both are great mattresses and it's impossible to go wrong with either. In our tests, the Aurora Luxe was slightly higher performing. So if I had to pick one, that's what I'd go with. quite a useful video. i bought a mattress because the customizability has a lot to offer for people who simply dont know what to buy. it could be that you dont like the latex feel, but, to me, it seems like that would be quite an early discovery to make. the ability to make the exact level of firmness and height is something everybody should consider especially considerinf that making an adjustment seems to come down to shipping and replacing only a single 3 inch layer instead of an entire matress.

Hello Naplab, I have commented in the past about the Costco Beautyrest Silver 14.5 Dual Cool. I am currently trying to compare between this mattress (Kirkland Lakeridge), the Leesa Legend, and the aforementioned Beautyrest Silver 14.5. My wife and I like a 4-5 firmness. We like buying from Costco due to the free returns. We like hybrids rather than all foam. Do you have any thoughts on this? I respect your opinion. I'm considering the support and quality the most. Thank you.

That said, I expect performance would be similar. In addition, I haven't tested the Leesa Legend from Costco. So I am not sure how similar it is to the one they sell on Leesa.com. My guess would be that it's a modestly worse version of the one on Leesa.com. Even so, it would still be the best performer among these 3 mattresses. If you want to buy at Costco I would buy the Leesa Legend.

Have you ever thought of doing pillow reviews. I prefer your reviews compared to other "reviewers". All these mattress brands sell pillows at least with mattresses you have an idea of how they will feel depending on what the layers are but with pillows it's so hard to tell. Sometimes they look a certain way on their website and then you get a flattened pillow, etc.

Pillow reviews are definitely something I'd like to do in the future. However, I don't want to start those until our mattress reviews are more fully complete. I'm not exactly sure when that might be. By a rough count there are probably 150 popular mattress models I'd still like to test / review. After which, I could definitely see us doing pillow reviews, foundations / frames, sheets, protectors, etc.

I am contemplating switching for the sunset luxe before the end of my 100 days and was interested in any advice you might have. I am 130 lbs and am a side sleeper that spends a good amount of time on my bed so I do end up laying on my back or sitting at times. I like the firmness and support of the midnight luxe for everything except I do feel that I could sink in a bit more for more spine alignment and less pressure on my shoulders. I feel I’m a tad too light for this mattress but I’m just worried I’ll find the sunset too soft and too close to my last denser memory foam mattress.

With respect to density - I don't think you'll find the Sunset Luxe like your previous memory foam. It's very similar in terms of density feel to the Midnight Luxe. The only difference is that it's a softer feel. If you mostly sleep on your side I think the Sunset Luxe is a great choice for you, especially at your bodyweight. If you're finding the Midnight Luxe isn't providing as much pressure relief / comfort / sinkage as you prefer then I do think the swap to the Sunset Luxe makes sense for you.
