Margareta Juvan is from Opatija, Croatia...she recorded fantastic EP in 1963 for PGP RTB from Belgrade, under the name Eti Juvan...

Please forgive my ignorance, but did CAN call themselves "Innerspace Productions" when they did soundtracks for movies? BTW this tune is very groovy!

cheeezdooodle they made this music in 1968 when they were still named innerspace. the film was released in 1970

Pity Margareta Juvan didn't do any other work that I know of, I really like her singing voice. A Can album with her would've been immense... but she couldn't replace Mooney or Suzuki, they're on their own levels of immensity.

You probably won't see this after this many years, but ironically Eti Juvan was more famous before Can than after. She recorded singles, an EP and some film songs in the former Yugoslavia (where she's originally from, specifically Croatia) before moving to Germany and, later to the United States after she retired from music.

@@GizmoLico Yes, if I'm remembering correctly, her 1963 EP is available on the Diskos label. She even played bass on some of her German recordings.

While this film was released in 1969, I am sure that was filmed in the fall of 1968 as David Johnson (flute) was still a part of Can at this time. This clip is particularly interesting since it was a very short period of time that both Johnson and Mooney present. While I am not a particularly huge fan of Juvan's vocals, Czukay's bass line more than make up for it. The only person who sounds similar to Czukay on bass was Hendrix on the Robert Wyatt track "Slow Walking Talk."

Ich habe neulich "Running Man" mit Arnie gesehen. Am besten fand ich dort noch Jesse Ventura als ehemaligen Helden Captain Freedom. Beim Millionenspiel hingegen gibt es mehrere denkwürdige Elemente: - diese Titelsequenz, - Dieter Thomas Heck als Moderator, - die Werbespots, - Talkshows und Interviews auf der Straße, wo die Bürger das Für und Wider der Show diskutieren, - die Sportkommentatoren, die wie Heck dem Ganzen Echtheit verleihen. Das alles ergibt ein Fernsehspiel für die Ewigkeit.

Warum er wohl nie wieder im TV auftauchen wird und erst recht nicht im Kino oder auf DVD, wird alles aus dem Wiki-Beitrag ersichtlich. Selber ergoogeln, verlinken geht leider nicht. Geniale Umsetzung eines genialen SF-Autors, weshalb nur dieser dumme Patzer bei der Rechtesicherung?

Leider wird der Film sehr selten gezeigt. Highlighs sind u.a. Heribert Fassbender (ohne Bart!!!)als Kommentator, Dieter Thomas Heck als öliger Moderator und Dieter Hallervorden als Killer (!!!). Der Film wird erst seit wenigen Jahren im Fernsehen gezeigt.
