Quite the wide range of weapons there. Not my style, but I look forward to seeing how it works out for you Edit: I would recommend using it in a match versus the testing grounds though, considering that the testing grounds will only show so much about a mech’s viability. I only use it to test heat management and get a feel for the speed of the mech (with lighter mechs).

@@jalakor this is mainly used for brawling, hunting light mechs and ambushing. You can always just refit it with dual RAC5s and shred people.

Yeah nah. Either 2xGauss+7xERML or STD engine, AC20, LBX20, bunch of ERSL. No LAMS, no random mix of lasers.

@@bradhedgehog12 the great sword has good damage but sometimes the hit ox can be wonky. I used YAML to heavily modify the highlander V.E.S.T. to carry one in addition to Clan LB20X, Heavy medium lasers and clan SRM6s.

@@angryblob5574 Unless the clan Weapons was on a mod then idk how you can manage that. But other then that it can be wonky or whatever it is you said but it’s worth it. I score several well time hits and kills. Even sneaking up and surprise them this way. And yeah I Have a Highlander Vest Model too. Your almost like a mere Mech ninja warrior of mastered well.

@@angryblob5574 and I may not have the Clan tech on my game maybe not yet but I can assure you I still can make quick work too. My vest Highlander has An Ultra ac5, two pulse Lasers, an LRM 10 an SRM6 and a Great Sword. All lvl 5 tier weapons.

The Uziel has been one of my favorites since MW4. Back then I would run a build with 2 LB10-X and 6 ERML. It could reliably core anything in about 3 alphas.

Have you noticed every mercenary company has a certain personality? Wolf's Dragoons and MacArron's Armored Cavalry are the more professional ones. The Kell Hounds consistently start off cocky, and then _whine_ about it when they lose. 😄

@@finnl6887 By the time this storyline campaign rolled in, I've long lost count on how many contracts I have taken, fighting for the independents, against the independents, partaken in the Kestrel Lancers campaign(enemies garrisoned on a civilian city? they're all enemy. weapons free), the Rasalhague defense, and countless other, mini campaigns which got me tossed around to various houses. By this point, I am well acquainted with the fact that regardless of the morality measuring and the proselytizing of ideals, none of the factions here; from the great houses, to the local government contractors, to the small mercenary outfits, including our own, are absolute "good". But to be able to immerse and explore that ambiguous facet in me through this universe is why I like BattleTech.

Instead of a PPC, I like using a Large Pulse Laser in this Hatamoto-Chi variant's left arm. Same weight, but better short- and medium-range DPS for less heat (Large Pulse Lasers have even less heat than standard Large Lasers do, actually). And yes, smacking enemies in melee with this 'Mech is very fun.
