I ignore your underrated album entirely I don’t know why. I had it on cassette and it disgusted me. They were just somehow avoiding disease in that era. Paul just icked me so much when I was like 6 years old like 🤢 just trying to like it. Sorry for all the comments but maybe that helps too

I don’t think Kiss would have kept on if Revenge didn’t make them actually real rockstars for ALIVE3.. they have videos where that band was legit. Carnival is respected cause Bruce earned it for me.

That was the most unique ranking I have seen of Kiss albums. Some real out of the box thinking there. I really like the Elder, but nowhere near number 2. I appreciate your willingness to throw conventional thinking to the wind. My ranking would be completely different and that's alright.

We have pretty similar takes on Rush. I also used a similar method to rank them. Songs get a score of 1-10. Songs over 10 minutes count twice. Slightly weight the top 4 songs from the album. So an album does get dragged down if it has a lot of filler, but you have to respect it if it has 4 bangers on it. Any, here is my breakdown using a tiered system: S Tier: Moving Pictures Hemispheres Permanent Waves A Farewell to Kings Signals A Tier: Power Windows 2112 Grace Under Pressure Fly By Night Clockwork Angels B Tier: Hold Your Fire Counterparts Snakes and Arrows Roll the Bones Caress of Steel C Tier: Rush Presto Vapor Trails D Tier: Test for Echo

I know you from the multiverse, we met at the Super Ball and have seen lots of shows together. You have a tradition of trespassing on the last night of shows at the Gorge to the edge to watch the sunrise and award 'heady' points to those who make it. You were the first person to ever tell me about seeing UFO's....at Phish festivals nonetheless. You were there to see that guy dressed up as Gallagher smash mangos on lot after the first year at Dicks. I know you as Stardog. Woof.

Man, to list these albums is absolutely nerve-wracking! Infinite Dreams to this day is still my #1 Maiden songs. Shoot maybe go from 1999 and below part 1. Then 2000 to present part 2. There is just so much in the catalog! One album I admit I never made it through is Dance of the Dead. I will always love the Trooper. I believe this song started our friendship at Hawkins grocery as bag boys. Singing the song back and forth to each other for 8 hours straight, lol! I'm so old I bought Somewhere in Time at Wooster K Mart. This would be my first metal cassette. It's been a lifetime of awesome music history and music ever since. UP THE IRONS!

Caress would make my top ten. Maybe around 10 or 9. Hemispheres is my favorite with Farewell a close 2nd. 2112 is top 5 for me. I like all the 70's stuff. I agree that Signals was a key album for the 80's. They had truly gone beyond their origins. I like the 80's albums now. I did not care for them back in the day. Power Windows is an exception. It would make my top ten.I always tried to like their stuff. I made an effort to. I think Clockwork was a great final album. I try to fit it in to my top ten. I would take Test For Echo over Presto, Bones, and a couple of others. I'm kind of fond of Counterparts. I saw them on that tour and the album was one of my favorites of 1994. Good personal memories I suppose. Thanks. It's always interesting to get an alternate take. PEACE.

My favorites are Nectar, Rift, Junta, Lawn Boy and Billy. I absolutely love these 5 albums. Next would be Hoist, Ghost, Fuego, Sicket and Farmhouse. I liked Joy when I first heard it. But, that said, I feel Joy is way too safe. It's unchallenging, with the exception of one or two tracks. It has obvious appeal, but it sounds like Phish plays Bon Jovi. And, I never liked Bon Jovi or similar purveyors of music for the masses. I have given a listen to their last couple of records but I don't hear that off the wall, Zappa, Prog, Jazz weirdness that made them one of my favorite 90's bands. The albums over the past 10 years have their moments. Trey is a really good songwriter and with age, has become more reflective. That's cool. The guys are not adventurous 20 or 30 year olds anymore. It's still there, but in less capacity. I'm always hoping I can hear another Divided Sky, but I think I'm expecting too much. My biggest gripe here, is your low ranking of Nectar. Good God, Man!!! Nectar is brilliant. Every song, every second. But hey, ot would be no fun of we all agreed on everything. That would be: BORING!! I enjoyed this clip. It popped up in my feed so....I'll give it a like. Take care and God bless. PS, A Live One is one of my favorite live albums of official release. It's right up there with the iconic ones. You know, Fillmore East and so on. PEACE.

I would say that the ratings on this video weren't about "this is like KISS; this isn't", and rated the albums by the quality of the contents, regardless of who it came from. Most KISS "connoisseurs" don't like Dynasty or Music from the Elder as they are the "classic sound of KISS". But if someone were to say "rate the music on these albums", and if they hadn't heard of KISS before...this is probably the rankings that would be given. One thing that they all agrees on was that Ace had the best of the solo albums.
